Pros:

worked quickly the first few months

Cons:

it's been less then a year and I'm back to having acne problems that Proactive does not seem to be able to get rid of

Worked well at first, but then faded. Not worth my money or time. Their commercials are full of "testimonials" from celebs and then suddenly became testimonials from real people, followed by an overwhelming campaign to sell the Mask. Overall, extremely disappointed, and to top it off---my face became more oily then before.

Pros:

Didn't dry out my skin, comes right to my door, made me feel like it was working for a while

Cons:

Problems with billing, never made my skin totally clear (and my acne was mild), seemed to stop working, now that I'm off it, my acne is worse than ever and I can't find anything that works, sometimes made my skin really shiny (not in a nice way)

Obviously this will react to everyone's skin differently. I thought it was helping at first, but eventually I stopped seeing any progress and was still getting breakouts. My acne is really mild, but since using this product has gotten worse. Also, I seemed to always have too much leftover or not enough left in timing with their automatic sending. Then, of course, every month I had it billed to my credit card automatically. The company would contact me and say I hadn't paid my bill, then bill my credit card a couple days later. When i finally cancelled, they kept sending it to me anyway and billing me. I would send it back and tell them again to cancel it and they would credit me the money back, but keep a 15 dollar convenience fee! For their mistake! Not an overall pleasant experience I would say, though I did have high hopes.

Pros:

Well, I've been using Proactiv Solution for about two years now.. At first it was very very effective. All my pimples were reduced and my face became smooth.

Cons:

As I use the solution after 9 months, I noticed that Proactiv makes my skin really oily, and because of this I am not pimple free. And now, my face looks like worse than what I have before I use Proactiv.

I want to stop using it but I can't find any products that will replace what I am using right now. If maybe I can find time to visit any dermatologist that can help me with my problem. Proactiv works at first but as you use it, your face becomes more prone to acne just like what I'm experiencing now.

Pros:

...celebrities use it?

Cons:

This product made no change with my face at all. Sure it wasn't irritating but it wasn't working. I kept my subscription for monts hoping the miracles I saw on t.v. would happen to me. But nothing happened.

Huge and very expensive disappointment

Pros:

idk i just got it today

Cons:

idk i just got it today

you know if you have an itchy or burning sensation you might be allergic to the peroxide stuff. it seems a lot of people are. plus your only supposed to use a dime sized amount of step 1, a quarter sized amount of step 2, and a pea sized amount of step 3. and the lady said that as the cleaner brings the deep down dirt to the surface u get a small breakout and then it gets clear.

Pros:

The price is decent, products lasted 60 days for the most part, decreased oil on my face for sure, eye make-up lasted longer b/c I used it on my eyes too, my sister claims it's the only thing that has ever worked for her (she's 33).

Cons:

I kept a photo log of my face while using Proactiv - looking back at the photos, it worked for the first 3-4 weeks, and then I was back at waking up to 5 new pimples every day - the mask works good as a spot treatment though.

It's continued to work for my sister for about 5-6 years - she gets about 1 (big) pimple every week. It worked for me at first but then it stopped. I used it 2x per day, every single day - I'm very dedicated to my skin care regime. I used it for about 6 months and even started taking birth control hoping that SOMETHING would clear my skin up, but so far, nothing ever has. I just started using Exposed yesterday so we'll see how that goes....

Pros:

Proactive did stop the pimples I was getting for the past couple of years.

Cons:

Now instead of getting pimples my face has been getting bumps/cysts underneath my skin all over and especially on my forehead. I can't squeeze them and they don't go away. My face is now permanently scared from Proactive.

If I could do it all over again I would never use Proactive. My face and forehead are so messed up from two years of using their system I really don't know what I am going to do to fix it. If you think pimples are bad just use this stuff religously for the next two years and your face will look like rawhide that has been sitting out in the sun for 10 years. I should have known better than falling for infomercials. Yes it did stop most pimples from coming out which is what kept me using it, but the whole time it was destroying my face in another way. Thanks Proactive!

Pros:

its easy and quick

Cons:

i have more pimples and expensive

my acne from the past has healed but i keep getting new ones every week. BIG ONES. but lukily the refining mask helps to shrink it down a little. still though, its too pricey and it doesn't quickly heal acne. you need a lot of patience for it.

Pros:

Made my skin smooth.

Cons:

Didn't clear up ANY acne, just caused more. Dryed the hell out of my skin

Basically, This product works.. in a way. It makes your acne worse at first and if you have sensitive skin it dries it out. Very expensive too, I paid 66 dollars and I'm going to change up my regimen to only once a day hopefull that will stop the burning and flaking. Otherwise i suppose it's a good product I haven't particularly gotten the best from it.
