Pros:

None

Cons:

Didn't do a thing.

I used it when it was first shown as an informercial on TV - so long ago that they didn't have a star to peddle it. Didn't do a thing - waste of money.

I don't understand why this doesn't work for so many people. it has made my skin completely bump free for almost two years. it is slowly fading away marks and hopefully with the help of aha, they will be gone soon. although this is a godsend for my acne, it tends to leave my skin oily unless i use the correct moisurizer

Pros:

The products work well together
You can set your ship date / combination of products online
Refining mask is the best clearing mask and overnight zit reducer I have ever used

Cons:

If you don't pay attention to your usage and change online settings you end up with a few too many bottles=waste of $$$

I like the line. I do not have bad acne though, so it helps with my PMS breakouts and makes my skin soft. I am madly in love with the refining mask. It is a godsend for an emergency zit and for blackheads. Overall I have been on it for 2 years and have seen a big difference in my skin. I do not use the ritual they way they tell me to- I only do it once a day, but leave the cleanser in the shower so that happens twice a day. Otherwise it can dry you out.

Pros:

It helped a little, and I mean a little, for about the first month.
It did not cause drying, redness, or anything like that for me.

Cons:

Expensive.
Stops working after a month.
It is very time consuming to apply all 4 products twice a day.

more cons- It does not reduce oil like it claims it does. The refining mask that came free with mine does nothing but make a crusty layer of crap on your skin. It made an about 20% improvement of acne, at its peak moment. It took about a month to see any kind of results, not 3 days like on TV. Bottom Line- It works for some people. My acne was not extreme, but was still a problem. Did not work for me.

Pros:

fills you with false hope

Cons:

I was on it for a week and started to notice the redness disappearing. However my shipments were always late and my skin consistency could never be kept the same with this product. My skin gets stung by the third product and gets really red.

It sucks.

Pros:

good for immediate treatment of a breakout; calms down redness

Cons:

does not prevent it; must dish out almost 100 dollars for kit; causes a lot of dryness, flaking; refining mask smells awful

If you want a quick fix for a troublesome breakout, then spot-treating with the refining mask is great. For preventing and ultimately defeating acne, this is not the right choice (especially if acne is more severe).

Pros:

Love Proactiv! It cleared my skin up right away. It also makes my skin feel really clean after I use it.

Cons:

Too expensive and I don't like that they automatically enroll you and you have to pay for it every two months to get a good price. I can't use it that fast and end up with boxes of it lying around.

If you have bad acne and are willing to pay the price, I definitely recommend it! Make sure you use all three parts!

Pros:

Good short term

Cons:

Expensive after a few months doesn't work as well, and you even become dependent. I stoped using it for a few days and I had the worst break out ever.

Its good for the trial but thats about it. I'm going to try a combination of toothpaste cleanser and alot of the lotion since you never run out of that stuff. If I have some results I'll be back =D

Pros:

Works really well. Way less acne :)

Cons:

Expensive

Use all three of the products EVERY DAY. Then once or twice maybe three times at the most use the face mask during the week. It will not be effective the first week and you'll probably get more pimples the first week, but after that you'll see them disappear and you're skin will be a lot more softer and smoother. This works really well and I'm acne free! (This is coming from a person who's family gets acne really bad.)

Pros:

WARNING!!!! at the beginning felt great I had a few hormonal breakouts. Proactive did clear most of it.

Cons:

After months worth of use, I was getting these big, painful red bumps that you can't pop because its cystic acne.

Horrible that this marketing scam tricks your skin to becoming dependant on the product, your body and skin does become immune to anything if it;s constantly exposed to it.I was using it for quite some time and then I had these big red bumps that I thought "If I'm using the Proactiv, I shou;d be clear, not breaking out." Bottom line don't do it, your better off with Clean and Clear, use tea tree oil and apple cider vinegar.
