Pros:

Made my skin feel and look smooth(er).

Cons:

It's too expensive, the "Renewing Cleanser" had little grains in it which irritated my skin, it burned, there are too many different steps to follow.

It might work for some people but personally I wouldn't recommend it. It did nothing good for me. It's very time consuming.

Pros:

cleared up a lot, didn't dry out (mostly because i had a moisturizer from aveeno), consistent, skin is still soft, skin is even, didn't scar

Cons:

doesn't clear up your severe acne 100%, when stop after a few days you will breakout

if you have severe acne, try this if nothing is clearing you up. It will clear up real good. It will take about a month though. The first 2 weeks, you may break out, but it's bringing your acne to surface and it will clear up really nice. Once you get down to wear you have a few pimples, you have the choice of keeping Proactiv or switching.

Pros:

hmmmmmmm

Cons:

Drys the HECK out of your face : ( Moisturizer does not help at all! feels moisturized for a few minutes, then back to cracked and dry. Face feels really tight all the time! Burns sometimes.

I started using ProActiv many years ago. I saw results within a week. I thought I found a miracle cure for my face! It worked great! Pimples disappeared, face felt pretty smooth compared to normal anyway. This product has burned my face since the beginning, but I put up with it because I thought that was it just "working" and doing it's magic. Well my face is fine during most of the month, but the few days before I get my period(when my face flares up the most) Proactiv makes my face severely dry! No matter how much of the oil-free moisturizer I put on my face, it doesn't work! It will feel good for a bit, then a few minutes later it's like I never applied any moisturizer. The weird thing is, as much as I complain about this stuff-it seems I haven't found any product I'm willing to try and let go of Proactiv. The second I give it up to try something else, I switch back to Proactiv. Love/Hate relationship lol. Sometimes works/sometimes doesn't! : (

Pros:

Deep clean feeling with nice moisture afterwards.

Cons:

may dry you out, but cont. to moisturize and it will be ok.

Use the product as directed and consistently for at least 2-3 weeks and you will notice an improvement in your skin! If you don't give it enough time to work you will never know.

Pros:

Less acne than before using it.

Cons:

Very drying, couldn't use all of the steps, seems to stop working after awhile.

My skin reacts better to their cleanser than any other I've used and I've tried them all, I couldn't use the cleanser or the moisturizer both made my skin red, raw, and painful. It seemed to work better when I first started it than now, and I still have never been completely blemish free, but it gotten me closer than any other product.

Pros:

If you've got resilient skin, it doesn't dry it out.

Cons:

It doesn't exactly work, either.

I've tried Proactiv on multiple occasions (hoping each time that it would have a different result than the time before). But to no avail. Never once has proactiv done anything...at all. It kept breaking out like usual. The medicine didn't even dry out my skin a little bit. I even tried the extra strength with the same results, or lack thereof. Bottom line, I don't think proactiv works in the least bit.

Pros:

It cleared up my acne, slightly

Cons:

It makes you skin SO dry, I found it hard to even wear foundation.
It works for about 2-3 months, then stops working entirely.
I wasted my money on this for like 1.5 year and it only worked for 3.

Doesn't work for everyone.
