Pros:

None that can think of

Cons:

Didn't work at all. Actually gave me dry patches (rash) around my face.

Didn't work at all. Seemed to make acne worse along w/ the rash and dry face.

Pros:

smells nice

Cons:

Didn't do anything to my acne, but made my skin's consistency turn horrible and slimy, and made scarring more prominent.

Avoid at all costs. Even if you want to try it, you can get the exact same concentration of the exact same medicine over the counter at your drugstore for a tooooon less.

Pros:

It began to clear my skin in three days....

Cons:

I used this product for four months. After the first month, my acne got considerably worse! I didn't change the way I used it, but it gave me big, red cystic acne.

This product is not worth the money. I have gotten better results using salicylic foam face wash pads (Neutrogena) and 10% Benzoyl Peroxide cream to spot treat. Although I was excited at first, the effects didn't last and made my acne worse overall. Someone else said that you should buy the moisturizer and other products, too. This only becomes more expensive. If a specific moisturizer is required for the product to work, it should be included in the original kit. Overall, I think buying more products from this company is a mistake!

Pros:

Didn't over dry my skin.

Cons:

Did not clear up my blemishes and did not prevent any new ones either.

It's a big rip off.

Pros:

Pro Activ only helps a bit..

Cons:

The active ingrediant is benzoyl peroxide, which does not do much for acne, Pro - Activ is a joke. The lotion clogs your pours in time, which results in MAJOR blackheads..

Pro-Activ is absolutley not the best acne treatment out there, not even ranked in my top 10 of acne treatments.

I had an allergic reaction to the product. It made my eyes swell up after a month of using it. I think it was the Benzol peroxide. It's strange because before using Proactive I never had a negative reaction to Benzol Peroxide. I am not telling not to try it, but if you have sensitive skin you should beware.

Pros:

Hmmmm..let me think....nothing.

Cons:

super dry skin to the point of it feeling like its burning, started out with a couple pimples, now i have cyst like pimples starting to develop ALL OVER WHERE I HAVE NEVER HAD ACNE BEFORE,terrible self esteem now,and an empty wallet as well.

I thought for sure this would work very well for me.I had some bad acne on one side of my face thats it..i wake up this morning and i have like 5 new huge ones on the other side of my face.and they hurt so bad...not to mention the money u have to pay for it along with all the make-up i have to buy now to cover up all the new pimples i have now.It made my face worse...and no matter what i do my face is sooo dry.and my self esteem is even worse now...i feel even more ugly than i did before i started using this system.i wont even go to my mailbox without puting make-up on now because my face looks so bad.Seriously...my sister almost screamed when she saw my face...uhhhh......not to mention my poor b/f waking up next to his pizza face g/f....meh..poor guy.

Pros:

I did love the repairing lotion, and the products smelled fresh. It was easy to use.

Cons:

Washing my face for 2 minutes with that gritty cleanser was awful and extremely irritating. I hated that they ship it to you, I'd like to buy it on an "as needed" basis. It's pretty expensive for what you get.

I used proactiv for years and it definitely worked for a while, but I don't think any product will work miracles if you don't take care of your overall health. Proaciv worked well for me when I was also exercising regularly, drinking mostly water, getting a good night's sleep, was less stressed, and had a strict "hands off the face" policy. I bet any other benzoyl peroxide acne regimen would have worked just as well for me at that time, and I could have found products that were a LOT cheaper. There are products that you can buy in your local drugstore that work just as well as Proactiv (just ask your doctor). If drugstore stuff doesn't cut it, don't waste valuable time: go to a dermatologist. Getting it shipped was annoying. I usually ran out of the cleanser before 2 months, but the repairing lotion lasted longer than 2 months. It would have been easier (and cheaper per month!) to buy one bottle at a time as needed. Customer service is bad, they like to randomly cancel orders.

Pros:

This acne solution did not show any results on my skin. I had very mild acne. Maybe it can only work to a certain extent. I don't know if it would work better in more severe cases.

Cons:

It is very expensive. The cleanser has bleach in it and so you cannot use towels with color. Trust me, I learned the hard way...about 10 of my towels are bleached. The lotion leaves my skin oily and shiny. The mask doesn't work.

This is an awful product. They charge way too much for nooooooooo results. I would not recommend this to anyone with mild acne. Maybe proactiv can help other skin types with more acne, but for my mild acne, it did not work. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!
