Pros:

Dries acne quickly
Clears skin

Cons:

Dries out skin
Sometimes burns
Bleaches clothes, pillow cases, and towels

I started using Proactive when I was around thirteen, and it worked so well! I stopped using it for a while, and my acne came back like crazy. I tried AcneFree, but that didn't seem to work for me at all! Starting Proactiv again, I saw a huge difference in my skin. I thought that Proactiv was my solution forever, but eventually, my skin became immune to it and it stopped working. Now I'm sixteen and just recently switched to using a tretinion cream. Proactive comes in three easy steps. Cleanser, toner, and the repairing treatment. I would definitely recommend Proactiv, but make sure you have a good moisturizer to keep you from getting too dry! I would suggest using oil free moisturizer in the morning rather than the repairing treatment. I found that that was best used at night, but be very careful about what touches your face, as it bleaches super easily! I used to put an old towel over my pillow cases, but you could always just get white pillow cases. When you're washing and drying your face, use wash cloths and towels that you won't mind turning orange. :) The only other problem I had with Proactiv is that sometimes when I was finished washing my face, my skin would burn. It was nothing unbearable or deal breaking for me, just kind of uncomfortable. Every month was too often for me to get my Proactive in the mail, so I chose to have it come every three months. That usually worked out perfectly with the cleanser, but I often found myself with extra bottles of toner and repairing treatment. Definitely not a bad thing, though! I just stocked my bathroom cabinets with Proactiv. :) My advice is that if you are struggling with acne, you should definitely give Proactiv a try! Hope all your acne problems are solved. :)

Pros:

The smell is okay.
Works okay, it's not the cure, but it helps a lot.

Needs a better guide.

Cons:

Expensive, BP burns, green tea moisturizer that comes with the pack that can go over step 3 gave me breakouts I think. Not sure. But I stopped using it, and I had less breakouts.

Proactiv works pretty well, might not work for some people, but thats because maybe they are skipping over some fine details. Like... watch out for the sun, protect your skin as much as possible, avoid oils, wash your face AND HANDS with just water often, you may never know when you touch your face. Get lots of sleep, when you sleep your body takes in much more oxygen, allowing your body; especially your skin, to heal. *If you decide to stay up late, wash your face with warm water often.

Pros:

smells really good
helped my acne a lot! in only 2 weeks
gentle

Cons:

drys out skin (seriously everything does though, just get a good moisturizer)
can bleach things

I have been using proactiv solutions along with vitaclear vitamins by proactiv....:) I still have acne on my forehead and chin, but it has seriously gotten better!!!! and hope it will continue to! another thing I started doing was drinking more water, and I seriously think that it has made my skin more clear and hydrated. it has helped with the drying effects of proactiv. basically... if you are desperately searching this website looking for things that might work, please just give it a try. ps, and if you don't want to buy Proactiv through their actuall company (some people have had complaints that they charge your credit card for things you never get) you can buy proactiv for cheaper on [link removed]

Pros:

Made my skin feel nice

Cons:

Allergic reaction

Okay, so I used it one night when I was out of my usual stuff, and it was just lying aorund because it was my sister's friend's (I think. She denied owning it afterwards). So I used it, and I didn't really care too much about my skin because I was much younger, and I didn't get breakouts or pimples or acne or ANYTHING, because I was young. I was just washing my face. So I used it, and it was alright. It made my skin feel good, I think. I don't remember a lot. It was a few years ago. The thing I do remember, though, is the morning after. I woke up, and when I looked in the mirror, I had a whole bunch of red bumps all around my face. All over, and I don't think I had school that day, since I remember obsessing over it for hours that morning, so I couldn't have gone to school. But Maybe the next day or something was school, and the bumps, while they had gone down, were still there. They were gone after a few days, but I couldn't believe it. At first I thought it was acne, but my mom told me I was too young (I was nine or ten or so). We summed it down to an allergic reaction to somehting, which had to be the fash wash I had used since I had done nothing different. Then my mom said they would be gone in a few days and that we shouldn't worry. They didn't hurt or itch or anything, they were just there. She then said not to use Proactiv again, so I didn't. So it was probably JUST ME, but it gave me an allergic reaction. Beware, Proactiv IS NOT hypoallergenic. It's not like they said anywhere that it was, but it isn't, just saying.

Pros:

makes my skin feel clean and soft

Cons:

stingy amounts, expensive

My skin seemed to be getting worse with age. At 34, I seem to have more pimples than I did in my teens! I finally decided to order the product when I overheard two women talking about how good it was. For the first month, after doing the 3 steps, my skin would burn (mild but uncomfortable) for about 5 to 10 minutes. This doesn't happen anymore, so my skin must be getting used to it. It really does work, all the little surface white heads on my cheeks have gone, but If I miss using it even once (I wash morning and night) I start breaking out again. And I still get the larger, painful pimples on my chin, though less frequently. My biggest gripe is that the cleanser ran out about 2-3 weeks before my next lot is due. they give you this tiny little bottle with 120ml in it and it's supposed to last you 60 days. Wash 2x daily which means you can only use 1ml per wash! That's like a couple of drops! I tried to use only a little bit each time, but you can't be too stingy with it because it won't cover your whole face otherwise. I'm almost tempted to cancel my orders for this reason alone. I think I'll use my next batch (only my second lot) and then give it up. Sounds like you can get products that work just as well from the chemist shop anyway. (and cheaper!)

Pros:

loved the scrubbing toner. made my face feel clean after i used it. didnt smell all that bad. gotten rid of some pesky black heads

Cons:

used it for about 4 to 6 months thinking my skin was getting better. but is wasnt. i continued to break out during that time. and wasnt worth the money that i payed to use it. didnt see any results

it depends on your skin type. try it after a month if you dont see results. stop wasting your money.

Cons:

Proactive made my skin dry out and peel.

Be careful ordering online, apparently if you order any products online you are automatically signed up for the proactive "club" and they will continue to bill you and ship products to you monthly.

Pros:

It worked for MAYBE a week.

Cons:

It didn't help my skin at all. It has only made my breakouts larger and worse! It says 2 weeks and it will begin working, wekk it has been 3 months now of consistently using and still nothing.

I had a horrible time ordering, I feel as if they con you and rip you off. It is FARRRR from being worth the cost! I hated the Product and has the worst customor service ever.Very very disappointed and would never reccomend it to anyone!!!

Pros:

smells okay...It dosen't make my skin dry like some people.

Cons:

No real results, kept my skin red, had a very wishy washy pattern to it, never made my skin clear, you run out of toner before you do the cleanser or lotion! Breaks out my cheeks :[

I would not have tried this product if it were not given to me free by my friend's sister. I don't fall into strange TV ad gimmicks, but I decided it was worth a shot while it was free, just to see what all the hype was about. When I first tried this product I thought it looked pretty nice, heard some good/bad reviews on it. Once I put the first step on my face it felt like it was actually cleaning it..maybe. The toner was nice feeling, and the lotion...oh ouch. That stuff burned my skin so harshly. My skin felt raw and looked awful and red after using it, but that slowly goes away a few minutes afterwards. Once trying it for about a week or so day and night as directed, I saw that although it didn't dry out my skin like some others have claimed, thank goodness, I noticed that it has a very wish-washy pattern to it. It'll make it seem like it's working for a while and then totally break my skin out even more.

Pros:
