Pros:

-clears up existing acne well
-skin feels smooth
-easy to use

Cons:

-doesn't prevent breakouts well
-exspensive
-once you start you CAN'T stop, or you'll break out worse than before

I have really oily skin so this works well for me, but I have friends with normal skin who use it and it dries out their skin and causes peeling. Best for bad acne, not great for occasional breakouts. The most effective product at clearing acne I've ever used. But you have to use it forever once you start, can't skip even 1 day.

Pros:

This product gets shipped right to you, you don't have to go out and buy it whenever you run out and it is unscented.

Cons:

It makes acne worse, there are 3 steps, you have to use the first step for 1-2 minutes, it makes skin oily, and it is expensive.

This product doesn't work and it is too expensive and you have to pay $40 every two months. It makes acne worse and it doesn't help at all. I hated this product. It is too much of a hassle to do all three steps twice a day. It also mad my face feel oily.

Pros:

i started to see results immediatley and it kept my face not COMPLETELY clear, but clear fo the most part.

Cons:

you start to break out if you go a day without using it, and to see results, you have to use the products together

I really like proactive. I've been using it for about 4 years and i use it twice a day. I have really oily skin, so i've recently started using the daily oil control and i can really tell a difference. My face still has a little oil but not near as much.

Pros:

worked for about three month. smelt ok.

Cons:

worked for short time then came back with a vengence worse than ever before. dryed out skin after used for a while. was espensive too. twenty dollars A MONTH

dryed out skin and does not work. go ahead and try, but it will either not work at all or work for s period of time and come back worse than ever before. this same thing happnened with murad but it didn't even go away at all.

im currently using proactiv and ive been on it for 2 weeks and im really starting to see an improvement and i have moderate acne. the scars and redness are already going away. alot of people dont use a moisturizer with proactiv so yes it will dry out your skin. i use aveeno daily moisturizing lotion fragrence free(noncomedogenic)jut a pea sized amount is good. does not leave my skin oily and gives just the right amount of moisture. Also alot of people dont use the right amount of the products. using too much or too litte will not work. but so far it seems to be working for me. And if it fails my next products will be Dan kern products =].

Pros:

clears pimples

Cons:

doesnt clear blackheads, burns skin, dries it out

it worked pretty good for me. everyone says it gets worse before the acne starts to clear but after the first day of using proactive, i already saw some of the acne clear up. it didnt clear everything, but it cleared a lot of it.

Pros:

Worked first time.

Cons:

Expensive
Makes skin dry and red.

Instead of getting rid of the acne, it seemed to hide it more than anything. Doesn't work.
July 19, 2008

Cons:

It burned my skin, made it horribly dry, and caused me to break out in little red bumps. Even after I stopped using it for 2 weeks my skin felt horrible. My face felt like I had a really bad sunburn.

These products are not worth all of the hype.

Pros:

The cleanser makes your skin super soft, the toner isn't harsh and watery, it actually has a bit of a milky/creamy sense to it, though not overwhelmingly so, and the lotion is gentle.

Cons:

You have to order the products, you can't just run to the store to pick it up when it runs out. The cost is also a bit more than some other products.

Try it! It may not work for everyone, but it doesn't hurt to try. Nothing works for everyone! And if it works for you, the cost is worth it. Can't blame a person for wanting to make a buck these days. They deserve my money if their product works for me. You can't expect people to practically give away their products.
