Pros:

gets rid of acne and leaves you with model looking skin.makes you feel refreshed. does not dry out skin

Cons:

slightly expensive. after the first week, acne comes back because the cleanser is getting rid of the dirt under the skin

I used to be made fun of for my "pizza face" in school. now people compliment me on my skin. i gave some to my friend because she gets the occasional pimple and oily T-zones, and now we both have soft, clear, healthy looking skin.

Pros:

Great clean feeling.

Cons:

Expensive.
Drying.
The three step system gets tiring.

I used proactive for almost 2 years. It worked well but after about a year the results started waining. Because it is drying, I had to use another lotion on top of the one provided so it became a 4 step system! I believe that it is much more complicated than necessary and unless your acne problems are severe (in which case you should just see a dermotologist) you should try something more simple. Perhaps a clean, gentle facial wash and always a lotion. (I recommend clinique)

Pros:

None

Cons:

made my skin super super dry and flaky seems to be making my acne worse where before I had none

I've been using this for two weeks and before I started mainly had a small amount of acne on my chin and my forehead was fairly clear. Now my forehead is covered in whiteheads and totally bumpy and oily and none of my other acne is going away either. Plus, it dries my skin out like crazy, to the point that it is flaking off in huge pieces. I threw out my receipt, so I guess I can't get my money back either. Paid over $75 for it too.

Pros:

Pro's? Are you kidding? OK, how about nifty packaging.

Cons:

Does not work, scam business practices, poor customer service, etc, etc, etc.

I was attracted to try Proactiv after hearing the ad on the radio for the free trial... the one where the girl asks "what's the catch" and the other person says, "there is no catch". Let me tell you... There IS a catch, so BUYER BEWARE. When I called, for some unknown reason (and unknown to the call agent as well), the offer was no longer available (despite hearing the same ad the next day), so I signed up for the "Trial Membership" to give it a TRY. After the 30 days, to no surprise, I still had the same level of skin issues (i.e. NO improvement) and had to deal with the aweful smell of benzoil peroxide on my face. Then, to my surprise, I recieved another package of Proactiv. When I called to ask why this was sent, I was told that buried within the long legal statement was a line that told me the "trial" was not a trial but a real membership (although the agent did not say it that way). Now I'm stuck with a 2nd month of this crap. Never again. And I warn

Pros:

Makes my skin smooth, blemishes disappeared faster, evened out skin tone color.

Cons:

Doesn't foam so it's hard to get makeup off with it on eyes and skin.

A good product; I have fairly clear skin with a few blemishes here and there sometimes. I like Neutrogena Acne Wash just as well. If it helps you, use it. If not, don't waste the money.

Pros:

Cleared my face overnight.

Cons:

Dry face at the beginning, but positive results, and my face has never been smoother and clear.

Try it, and if it does not work for you, return it. Word of the wise, purchase from a kiosk in a mall, and not on the phone.

Pros:

Works temporarily. and works on different people -so it might work for you.

Cons:

Made my face red for about a year and greatly irritated and burned my skin. (oobiviously i have sensitive skin.)

Might work for you, and if you have severe acne like i did - anything is worth a try. Just if you're like me and have sensitive skin (like moi) then yoy might wanna restrain from the scrubbing face wash.

Pros:

fewer breakouts, and they heal waaaay faster.

Cons:

dries out your face ALOT for the first two weeks of use. face still gets oily in t zone, but only the tiniest pimples there once in a while.

Like any other skincare product, this must be used consistantly(twice per day!), it takes a few weeks to see results, but it reduces breakouts, and when you do get one, it lasts for 1-3 days. anyone who gets those deep pimples knows what i'm talking about. those suckers can take a week or more to go away.

Pros:

It worked well enough for a few years then seemed to stop over night.

Cons:

It dries out your skin if you don't ease in to using it, or moisturise,

I was happy with it until it stopped working, I guess I built up a tolerance to it. I cancelled my subscription.
