Pros:

This system is for mild/moderate/acute acne.

Heres what you do.... proactiv 3 steps at night and sometimes in the morning. (for guys shaving helps just dont shave over zits)... every morning and every night take several vitamin b5 pills (depending on how oily you skin is), one multivitamin and one 1000mg vitamin C for scars.... if you have mild/moderate acne... you see incredible results within 3 weeks. tops. you have to stick to it... i know its alot of pills and alot of bother but trust me... i had acne for 3 years and nothing worked for me... my skin is finally almost clear. This is aint a sales pitch cracka! this is the real deal... im finally happy.

Pros:

Cleared up my acne

Cons:

Have to use product twice a day or you might see flare ups.

If you use proactiv correctly, and stick with it you will see results. For most people it take a good 2 months to see improvements, one month is not enough. Also, you might not be 100% clear in 2 months, but should see some improvement. The longer you use to product the more you will see the results. Proactiv is sold in most malls, talk to the people there because they can tell you why you might not be seeing results. Keep using!! Awesome product!!

Pros:

It dries out acne eventually.

Cons:

It makes it worse before it makes it better. it makes ur skin flakey and dry and uncomfortable.

you could just go to a dermatologist. i recomend that if u start, u stick with it. otherwise it wont work.

i started using it a while ago.. and i didnt see much diffrence.. the problem was still there just not as badly.. so i stopped using it and just lately on a non related matter i was getting a lot of pimples.. i decided to try it again, for some reason it took the little freckles on my nose away? but it hasnt done to badly yet i did see the pimples already there shrink some what but its not a miracle.. its jst liek any other pimple cream but a lot more expensive

Pros:

Totally cleared my skin up in a matter of days. I wake up with prettier skin in the morning.

Cons:

It works for 2 months and then stops. Have to use something different for a few days before I start it again. Occasionally burns the skin in the crease of my nose...sit infront of a fan burn.

The bottom line is, it works well. I had issues with some acne a few years ago, it cleared it up. But just like any other product after using it for a while the skin adapts to it. Hence the change in products for a few days every other month. I usually swear by this stuff.

Pros:

it clears up blackheads like a DREAM! (you know, those little tiny ones deep down in your pores and nothing else can get them) it makes your skin feel squeaky clean!

Cons:

its expensive and it kind of burns and stings right after you have put it on and it dries out your skin.

It is a good product that will clean your face well. It does kind of itch and burn for a while after you put on the BP lotion, and it does kind of dry out your skin. But if you put on oil-free mousteriser in the morning and the BP lotion at night, the dry skin problem goes away. IT IS AN AMASING PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!

Pros:

It really does work, the commercials may exagerate a little but it does take care of mild to moderate acne well. Very smooth skin and the oil control really makes your face look shine free!

Cons:

Just like with everything else, if you use too much your face is going to be dry. I have sensitive skin and the proactiv worked well until i started getting liberal with the toner and now my face hurts! Make sure to use everything sparingly!

It works, it's a good product, but you need to be smart about it. Don't expect that the more you use it the better your results will be. Bottom line. Just follow the directions and use small amounts of it EVERY time and you will be happy = ]

Pros:

Your skin feels clean and that is about it...

Cons:

Expensive, no results

Since I have been using this my breakouts have progressively gotten worse. I have followed the steps and I am on my 4th week of using it and my skin is worse now, worse then before using this product.

Pros:

Works pretty well. Well, at least the face wash does. The refining mask also works pretty well for lessening pimples overnight.

Cons:

For me, it only works if I use the face wash and a face cream thing of benzyl peroxide my doctor gave me. Not anything else of the system helps me.

It's pretty good. I wouldn't reccomend getting the really expensive kits of Proactiv though, maybe just the face wash, or the smallest kit possible. For me, I used it, and then kind of stopped. After about a month of JUST using the face wash and the cream my doctor gave me, my face started to clear up. I wouldn't reccomend using their toner or their other stuff.

Pros:

I am 30 years old and have always had to "deal" with mild acne. Just recently however I began breaking out along my jawline. I began using ProActive and it seems to heal the pimples quickly.

Cons:

However, it has not cleared them up completely... Actually, it hasn't cleared them up at all. Like I said above it helps heal them faster but before they are healed I'll have another one or two pop up.

Another bad thing I've noticed about ProActive is that it causes my skin to become severly dry and itchy. My neck (and I don't even use it on my neck) has become dry and red and itchy. I think I might be allergic to it, however this is not a normal allergic reaction (I don't think). Anyway, I've heard amazing things about this product and it saddens me that it has not been the miracle solution I was hoping for. I had MUCH better skin when I was taking Ortho-Tricyclen.
