Pros:

At 13, my daughter began to have acne. She asked if we could try Proactiv. I thought we would try it first, before using a dermatologist. We got it and saw a huge difference in 2 wks. Now I use it and I am 37. It has done wonders for my skin as well.

Cons:

The bottles are too small. I feel you have to use it sparingly to make it last until they send you more product.

I know that Proactiv has worked for both myself and my daughter. It is very affordable, about $5 per week. I think the bad reviews come mostly from people who are too lazy to do it as a regimen, which is the way it is designed to work. You are not going to get the clear skin results overnight! It takes a few weeks of consistent use! I used Clinique for many years (I am 37) but it seemed to stop working. After seeing the results on my 13 yr old daughter's skin, I decided to give Proactiv a try. This stuff works great on my skin!!! But I had to give it about 3 weeks to really see the results and now people tell me my daughter and I look like sisters!!! Thanks Proactiv!

Pros:

Just perfect it really works ,

i can stop using this and my acne wont grow. i am happy i always had 2-3 pimples.. big or small but it goes away fast with this product.

Cons:

The marks stays... , can't go outside when i use this.. the sun will burn , my back on my head got burned.. it really hurted... it got to do with this cream so be careful. don't use this then go outside on the sun.

I guess i am lucky , 70% of people in here it didn't work.. I am so sorry about you guys and i hope you all get better. but this thing really works for some. as soon as 1 pimple grow it goes away in a day! or 2.. but i had lots of pimple before it was horrible i never went out , i stayed home :( i am like i am gonna wait till i get rid of this pimples when it goes away i am going to find a job and then go college eventually.

Pros:

Ok, I haven't seen one perfect review, either you guys dont know how to use it or dont follow directions.... Proactiv has worked extremely well for me. If you're consistent and follow the directions, its works wonders. It has completely cleared me up

Pros:

Smells great, the cleanser is also an exfoliant, my nose blackheads are disappearing, my skin tone is becoming more even, whiteheads are drying out, ingrown hairs are coming out becaues the product gently sloughs the dead skin off of them. Awesome!

Cons:

I like the cleanser waaaay too much, and sometimes after I wash my face, I forget to use the toner and the solution, so I think that I am going to be left a little uneven when all is said and done.

LOVE IT!!! I've been wanting my own set of Proactiv for years, and I'm so happy that I finally have my own set. I have friends and family members who have had it, and I've used it a couple of time when I visited, so this is cool. Be aware, though, that this isn't going to work for everyone. Many people have HORRIBLE eating habits, and don't drink enough water, so they might be a lost cause no matter what they put on their faces. They have internal problems. Also, even if some people do all of these things, their hormones are different, and require a prescription for an internal pill/medicine to help with their acne. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT!!! People need to stop jumping on Proactiv's back when the product works exactly as it should, and if it's not getting rid of your acne, the problem is NOT Proactiv, it's YOU!

Pros:

it works well on people who are not allergic to benzoyl peroxide.
clears acne at first

Cons:

after discontinuing, makes acne worse

its a good product but you have to make sure you're not allergic. its quite expensive but its worth it.

no Moisturizer

is a little pricy but i have to stay it does keep my skin clear,havent had a breakout in 4 weeks. practically same steps as kerns but with toner just started using there daily oil control and it leaves my skin oil free all day

Pros:

Cons:

Leaves your face a little shiny

I've had moderate acne for about 5 years now and tried just about everything until a friend of mine suggested proactiv. Seriously, IT WORKS! Different people have different skin types and react to different products in different ways, but I would highly recommend it to anyone with moderate acne. The only problem is that it does leave your face a little shiny, but I would take that over clear skin any day.

Nothing really. I guess, its a little on the expensive side.

I bought proactiv after being so fed up with my acne which has been bugging me for almost 5 years. No one knew I used proactiv and after a few day, a friend noticed and said, "hey, your skin looked a lot better". Compliments keeps coming from that point. It truely changed my life! Its a year after now and Im back to square one - this time, even worse. But thats cause I stopped using Proactiv after 6 month, when I felt my skin looked its best and acne is out my way. Bottomline, proactiv works if you use it consistently and stick with it till...welll, forever. Either way, proactiv gets my two thumbs up :)

started clearing my skin within the first 3 days

got told if you stop using it your skin will break out real bad
