Pros:

NONE

Cons:

EVERYTHING

Seriously...don't buy this stuff. It is completely worthless and doesn't work for hardly anybody. You would be MUCH better off choosing another product with better reviews and success. Anything out there is better than this (well you know....)...plus I HATE getting sucked into a monthly membership thing where they automatically charge you and keep sending the crap!

Pros:

None

Cons:

Smells terrible, expensive, leaves skin dried out and itchy, does not help with acne at all.

I used this stuff for almost a year with no improvment what so ever. I started to break out more often due to the dryness of my skin. I would not recomend this to anyone.

Pros:

it smells good, it works pretty well, smooth, easy to apply

Cons:

costs too much

buy it! it really does work! it has a great smell! it goes on smooth! see results in 2 or 3 weeks! i very much recommend it for people! listen to the commercials cause they are right! it is a wish come true and it is a miracle and it can be for you too!

Pros:

Cleans dirt off your face

Cons:

Costs a lot, doesn't remove acne, dries out skin too much for 15mins after use, then leaves skin crying like a battered rape victim.

No good, no good at all for acne. Go see a Dermatologist.

Pros:

seems to work

Cons:

small bottles, expensive products!

Ok so I bought the 3 steps today. I used everything on the planet, including Accutane which was hard because of the side effects. I was until this morning using the 3 step from Clinique and I didn't feel the mousse cleanser actually cleaned and the moisturizer didnt moisturize either. But remember acne has a lot of origins, my dad is over 5O and has had acne for 35years! And I don't understand people that use it for 7days and say it doesn't work! people give time to time! i mean it's like a diet: do you really think you can lose 4pounds in 7days? its the same for new products you use! your skin just has to get used to react in a positive way. and there also are a lot of circumstances that can get to breakouts: stress, humidity, bad and fat food..Same for people that use it from time to time or complain it takes too much time! how do you expect the products to work if you only do half of the required steps?! Proactiv works but it's not magical: you gotta work on it to!

Pros:

worked for a while!

Cons:

stopped working, dryness, itchyness, eventually made my skin more oily

eh if you acne is very moderate it may work

Pros:

None that I can think of...

Cons:

Made face really dry and extremely red!!! not to mention the $50.00 price tag

I've tried this product twice. The first time I took it, I was on it for about a month and a half and saw NO results. I went along with other over-the-products for awhile and decided to try proactiv again to see if this time it would work(i was thinking i wasnt doing it properlly). So the SECOND time i took it, I closely followed instructions and even tried to eat right and stupid stuff like that and PROACTIV still didnt give me my money's worth. This product is a JOKE! When companies hire celebrities to be their voice, it's usually not a good sign, you know?

Pros:

Worked for my brother, who has light acne. The moisturizer was pretty good...

Cons:

I have moderate to severe acne, and Proactiv did NOT work for me. I have a very oily complexion, and the clenaser didn't even get my skin to feel clean.

Basically here's what I get out of ProActiv. It works for those with lighter acne, or maybe with a less oily face (like my brother), but for people like me, who have moderate to severe acne, with an oily complexion, it doesn't work. Also, it's around 50 to 60 dollars per package, so I would not say it's worth your money. I kept using it for an extended amount of time, hoping to see if it would improve, but was only disappointed.

Pros:

It made my skin feel smooth and didn't dry me out.

Cons:

DIDNT WORK! WASTE OF MONEY! made acne worse

k heres the bottom line people...proactiv doesn't work. i used to be one of you. looking up reviews to see if proaciv. i wish i would have listened to these people.it was a waste money. The only good thing about it was the toner which takes dirt off your face. like dirt i didn't even know was there. I used this for about a year and the first month i cleared up then i stayed about the same. when i decided to see what would happen it got WORSE! the commercials promised me the world and i was let down. now i use the clean and clear 3 step kit and it is great! it cleared up my face in a day! I would recommend the clean and clear kit. trust me people would i lie to you! don't use proaciv

Pros:

high quality as opposed to the drugstore imitations, works quickly, available in most malls now, the BP lotion isnt grainy, the toner is alcohol-free and at a correct pH for exfoliation

Cons:

obliged to join a club when ordering online, fragranged, small bottles, expensive considering there are no special ingredients

whenever I have a breakout, this works! but when my skin is clear, I get lazy and stop using it, and a few months later Im really broken out. It works fast, but dont be discouraged if you break out a little more after a couple weeks because old stuff has to come to the surface. Keep on it for 2 months before giving up. After using it for about 5 months straight, it might seem to be less effective. In this case, just try and use more of the repairing lotion and make sure you're being consistent. Keep using it and eventually it'll get better. Sure, the celebs are getting paid millions to push proactiv, but it does work for mild/moderate acne. For severe acne, it might have to be used with antibiotics or other prescriptions. But as an OTC product this is very good. I always make sure I have some around. my mom is still dealing with acne too, she's in her 50s and proactiv has really helped her too, she swears by it. its worth a shot. give it 2 months, if it doesnt work, get your money back
