Pros:

None

Cons:

-Didn't do anything to my face, if anything, it got worse.
-Too much product, it felt like it was messing with my skin too much.
-Maybe it would have worked if i stuck with it longer.

Did not make the slighest difference in my skin.

Pros:

leaves skin feeling clean and soft when straight after using it
60 day money back garantee (VERY USEFUL)

Cons:

Skin looks dirty and greasy by end of the day.
Very expensive.
DOESNT WORK

Skin started to improve within a week and then went straight back to how it was! Pointless and expensive!

Pros:

money back guarantee offered by website, company promptly refunded my credit card and discontinued my orders when they received my return

Cons:

expensive
did not work on whiteheads and cystic acne

my daughter has white heads and cystic acne, she used proactive 2xday for approx 6-7 weeks and had no improvement at all. This may work for some people, unfortunately not for her. I returned the bottles and they promptly refunded me and discontinued my orders.

Pros:

-Cleared up acne
-Exfoliates Skin

Cons:

-Red Marks still linger
-Occasional Breakouts

All in all this has worked wonders for me. Just make sure to cleanse lightly as to not over exfoliate your skin. I also use jojoba oil with my moisturizer. Otherwise it can be drying

Pros:

does clear my acne!

Cons:

expensive - even when bought on ebay
drys out the skin like crazy

the only that that has worked for me!! I bought the U.S version on ebay & have been using the cleanser twice a day as recomended and in the last week I have seen a huge change! I have quite bad acne whith lots of scaring and nothing but nothing has worked. I seem to have tried everything from vitimins, acne medication, Chinese herbal treatments, and pretty much every ointment/ treatment that can be bought at a chemist. I decided to try Proactiv basically because Stephanie Seymour recomended it, which I know isn't a great reason but I was desperate! I find the Reparing Lotion way too harsh and drying for me to use everyday, so I alternate it with Dermelogica Bedtime for Breakouts - which seems to work well for me. I also use large amount of an industrial strength moisturiser lol, the best one I've found that doesnt break me out is Clinique's Dramatically Different Lotion for very dry skin. I'm currently feeling really possitive about this combo as i have already seen a 50% improvement in my skin in just a week & the star of the show HAS to be my Proactiv cleanser with BP :D oo as an after thought: I also use a honey mask in the evening and that has also really helped to stop my skin getting too dryed out :)

Pros:

Gorgeous design of bottles
Smells good
Inexpensive

Cons:

Makes your skin oily
Only cleared me up a little bit for about a week
After that week, my acne was back just as bad as before

After about a month of using it, it cleared up about half of my pimples for a week. I have a lot of them, so although this was noticeable, I was still very self conscious during that week. After that week, my skin returned back to the way it was before I started using Proavtiv...BAD! I hadn't changed anything, I had kept using it the way I was, but it had stopped working. For all I know, my week of half clear skin could have been luck, and not Proactiv. Along with not being affective, it dried out my skin, and the Green Tea Mousturizer STUNG my skin so I had to wash it off right after applying it! I still kept the Refining Mask however, because it helps fade TINY pimples that are almost gone (plus it smells SOOO GOOD!).

Pros:

they do teach completely clueless people to take care of their skin.
ads show that celebrities have acne too.

Cons:

the renewing cleanser was pretty harsh on the skin.
i didn't really see the point to the revitalizing toner, it felt drying like an astringent.
the repairing treatment has a strong scent, that kind of burns if you use a lot of it. they teach you to apply only a little bit, but if you use more (enough to actually be effective, assuming you can stand the smell), it can get really expensive.

i did proactiv for about 8 years. it helped my moderate acne a little, but i still had quite a few pimples and some areas on my face that never ever seemed to get clear. at first i used all three steps, probably for a year. then i gave up on the toner, because i didn't like the slimey feel (no observed effectiveness change.). then i gave up on the cleanser in favor of plain soap (again, no observed effectiveness change.). finally i found a benzoyl peroxide treatment that was cheaper without the strong smell, that i could apply more liberally and still afford, which has completely banished my acne. i won't be going back to proactiv, but it would be better than nothing?

Pros:

None.

Cons:

Caused the worst cystic acne I've ever had.

This was the worst product I've ever tried. It caused the most horrible cystic acne and it lasted months. I still have some breakouts (years later) in the worst areas of my face which I believe are still caused by using this product. When I called to return the product, I was told they had a line of products for sentive skin. Why couldn't they have told me this when I called the first time? I wasn't willing to take another risk on this product so I just returned it and got by money back.

Cons:

Didn't work AT ALL. It's a pain in the butt with all of the steps and it dried my face out really bad.

Try it if you want but it didn't work for me
