Pros:

smells nice

Cons:

Didn't do anything to my acne, but made my skin's consistency turn horrible and slimy, and made scarring more prominent.

Avoid at all costs. Even if you want to try it, you can get the exact same concentration of the exact same medicine over the counter at your drugstore for a tooooon less.

Pros:

Worked very well at the beginning

Cons:

Burning sensation on skin. Super dry skin. Acne still came back

Don't use Proactive if you only breakout occasionally, like I do.

Pros:

It smells nice and it cleared things up in the first 2 weeks. My jawline was breaking out terribly and my nose/chin was covered in blackheads. It definitely stopped that.

Cons:

My cheeks, chin and forehead are not doing so well. I get large painful pimples that don't become whiteheads, but they don't go away for days sometimes weeks. Their customer service/shipping is completely inefficient. Body system just does not work.

I don't think this is worth the money. I've tried almost everything on the shelf. I went with this company because of it's many claims of being a "miracle" treatment. It is NOT. I am very frustrated because I don't know where to go from here. I can understand the dry peeling skin at first, but my skin STILL burns terribly after the second application. They say all bottles should run out at the same time which is NOT TRUE. I just think there has to be something better out there for me.

Pros:

Works just as described.

Cons:

A little hard to keep at the regimine, if you're busy and/or forgetful.

I've been using this for about three months now and it works loads better than everything I've tried. The only time I've broken out is because I got a bit lazy and did it only once a day instead of twice, and it cleared in a mere three days. Over the counter products always really dried me out, but oddly I'm not getting it with proactive.

Pros:

I have ordered proactive and received the wrong order, when this happens I call, they send me the right order plus an extra refining mask, all for free!!! Who else does that

Cons:

NONE! There's nothing to lose, if it doesn't work, send it back and get your money back.

This stuff works, I had to order the extra strength and it seems to be working just like the commercial says it does. They have GREAT customer service and are always willing to work out whatever problems you are having with the product.

Pros:

It began to clear my skin in three days....

Cons:

I used this product for four months. After the first month, my acne got considerably worse! I didn't change the way I used it, but it gave me big, red cystic acne.

This product is not worth the money. I have gotten better results using salicylic foam face wash pads (Neutrogena) and 10% Benzoyl Peroxide cream to spot treat. Although I was excited at first, the effects didn't last and made my acne worse overall. Someone else said that you should buy the moisturizer and other products, too. This only becomes more expensive. If a specific moisturizer is required for the product to work, it should be included in the original kit. Overall, I think buying more products from this company is a mistake!

Pros:

None

Cons:

Aggrivates skin, too expensive for what it is.

Proactiv does NOT work. I have had pimples for four years and I had used everything from creams to prescription antibiotics. My skin wasn't too bad but I really wanted to have clear, unblemished skin. When I saw proactiv on television I couldn't believe my eyes, I had a true belief that proactiv was going to be my solution. The day my package arrived I was so excited and went straight to work at getting my skin renewed. Four weeks down the track my skin was covered in sore, red acne, worse than I've ever had before. I went to the dermatoligist who told me I must stop using proactiv and go on roaccutaine. I now had severe acne. Now after being on roaccutaine for two weeks my skin has calmed down, and I am seeing my face becoming clearer than it has been in a long time. Perhaps proactiv works for some, but I personally would not recommend it for someone with sensitive and spotty skin. Proactiv is pure crap and it ruined my skin.

Pros:

Didn't amke my acne worse.

Cons:

Didn't completely clear up my skin after 3 months of use. For the price I paid I wanted completely clear skin.

Save your money up for a dermatologist instead.

Pros:

sleek packaging, well-advertised. Money-back guarantee

Cons:

dried my skin out. NOT SUITABLE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN!!!

for the first few weeks, proactiv made my skin feel nice and smooth. but after a while, it started breaking out again, and drying up. My aunt used it after me, and she has sensitive skin: note: the cleanser has scrubbing beads that literally scrubs the skin! not for sensitive skin at all!
