Pros:

Aboslutely nothing

Cons:

Makes my skin burn and turn bright red, makes skin dry and flaky, pimples are worse now than they were prior to using the system.

I would normally only have a few pimples on my chin, but they were the bright red, deep under the skin, painful to the touch kind of pimple. The Proactive system makes my face turn red and it feels like it's on fire. My skin is so dry and itchy - no amount of moisturizer calms it. I also have more pimples now than I did when I started using the system. Total waste of time and money - try the L'Oreal 3 step system (available at Target and most drug stores). It smells good, and doesn't dry your skin out nearly as bad as Proactive.

Pros:

The moisturizer seemed to work well.

Cons:

I am a 21 year old female with lots of acne problems. I have sensitive skin and have to be carefull of the products I use. I used Proactive for 8 weeks and it didn't help clear up my acne at all. It actually ended up damaging my skin more.

Don't waste your time. Everybody I know who has used it generally has good results at first, then get a lot worse.

Pros:

Refining mask

Cons:

So many

It made my skin red and irritated and didn't help at all. iF ANYTHING IT MADE IT WORSE. The Refining Mask was ok, but i can only use it 1-2 times a week because it really dries my skin up. I was very disapointed.

Pros:

Makes my skin feel smooth

Cons:

Takes a little time

Has worked best on my oily skin than anything else over the last 25 years. Must use consistently. I've managed to scale it back from the 3 steps to 2 steps in the morning and 2 in the evening and works just as good. Won't use anything else and have just started my teenager on it.

Pros:

Feels good to wash with, money back guarantee

Cons:

Did not work on my skin, my dermatologist told me it will actually leave red marks on my skin, expensive, takes a long time to properly use the treatment.

I tried this because my sister-in-law and two good friends both had wonderful results. I knew that Accutane would be my last option if this didn't work because I have tried just about everything else (antibiotics, prescription topicals, diet, apple cider vinegar, etc.). Bottom line- if you have cystic acne like I do, this is not going to work! Save yourself the time and disappointment and just go to a dermatologist. If you have mild non-cystic acne this might work for you. The only benefit is the money back guarantee. Accutane it is for me!

Pros:

-stops big breakouts
-skin is left feeling clean and really soft
-i saw results after the first 2 weeks.

Cons:

-can dry out your skin (mine never dried out that bad)
-doesn't work for some people

I totally think it's worth it. After i started using it a few of my friends got it too. If used consistantly it does work, but sometimes it just takes longer for other people. It's really good for when your in highschool thats for sure.

Pros:

proactiv is good for a major breakout.. but that's it.

Cons:

If I use it for more than four days, my skin is killing me and its dry and red. It burns to put any lotion icluding the proaciv lotion on it.

This product is not worth your money at all. Save your money and buy a simple bar of soap, Lever 2000. That saved my skin from the damages of proactiv.

Pros:

-Works on minor-moderate acne
-Refines skin texture
-Makes skin feel very "clean" and oil-free

Cons:

-Slightly drying
-Costly
-Not for long term use

If you are consistent and use it twice a day, it works pretty well. I noticed that after a few months it stopped working as well. Also, it has turned some of my acne a grayish-purple color. Not sure what this is about.... Bottom Line - it's worth a try. I the lotion is slightly drying and strong, but smooths the skin. Love using the mask.
