Pros:

It works for while, and it will keep it clean for a while.

Cons:

You have to pretty much be 100 percent committed to using it for it to work well
Makes your skin oily

It doesnt work on me any more. I even got the extra strength formula, and once again it worked for a while, then quit. Honestly, your better off with some deep cleansing stuff, a regular refining mask, and some oil removing wipes. Your skin will feel a whole lot cleaner if you use that stuff,

Pros:

-cleanser felt really good on face
-lessened all the red
-smell was okay after you get used to it

Cons:

-burned and peeled my skin if used more than once a day
-didn't work even after 3+ months
-feels like i keep on getting more and more oil on face throughout the day

Well, this worked for me for the first week. The second week, I went from using once a day to twice. My face burned and skin started peeling. The red is all gone after about three months of use, but my acne didn't go away. Acne got worse, but it's not red, so acne isn't really seen too much. I only have acne in my T zone, and not on my cheeks or anything. But it's really oil on my forehead and Proactiv has done nothing to help it. I didn't use up a months bottle because I've been only using once a day, but it's still pretty expensive. I tried AcneFree which didn't work either. Pretty sad actually. I'll have to go and find something else for me.

Pros:

Works in 2 weeks

Cons:

You need to keep using this product forever! It doesn't really make your acne go way just less viewing.

Don't get this product unless you really don't mind using it forever! and it makes your skin dry and more sensitive. I started using it 4 years ago, and after a year i stoped, my face got worse, I had to see the doctor and used many other products. At the end I had to go back to Proactive, but it didn't work as well as it did to me 4 years ago, and the result was slower (almost 2month). after using it for 6 month, i stoped again. It's been almost 3weeks now and still counting, right now i have very tiny ones coming out... just like what happend to me when i first stoped proactive, but this time im going to fight it !!!!! becuase it really makes your skin look old and dry.

Pros:

Nothing!!!

Cons:

Everything-the way it made my skin feel, the smell, dry skin, the process, the cost. Oh, and the fact that it made my skin worse!

I started using this early this past summer to help acne/prevent new breakouts. I used it exactly as the directions has stated and not only did it not help but it made my skin worse. I started breaking out under my chin, along the jawline, and on my neck! Places that I never had acne before. The cost is ridiculous and I cannot even believe I bought it. I know everyone has different skin and why didn't work for me could work for others, but your money will probably be better spent on something else that will actually wok.

Pros:

*Clears Skin With Continued Use

Cons:

*Dries Out Skin
*Expensive

I used this product for about a year and it cleared my skin pretty well. The auto-charge was annoying but you can call them and change it so you can pay it AFTER you receive the product. I stopped using it and it all came baaack! Keep using it, dont get lazy and stop using it. If it dries out your skin try only using the 3-Step at night and a good exfoliater and maybe a light oil free moisturizer in the morning. Then your supply should last twice as long so you can go in and change your account to receive it only once every 90 or 120 days instead of 60. Also if you notice you only want the cleanser you can change your account to just get 3 cleansers (or 2 cleansers and a lotion etc.) If you are tired of wasting your money in drug stores on empty promises and you can afford it, DO IT! My self esteem has tripled.

Pros:

It came in a cute box.

Cons:

My skin burned, it made me nauseous, my skin peeled, got red and raw, and my face broke out even more!

I will NEVER use Proactive again its a waste of money.

Pros:

Keeps skin very smooth and exfoliated, haven't had any problems with flakiness!

Cons:

The glycolic acid in the toner may be too strong for those with very sensitive skin, but it just gave me a pleasant tingle.

I used to have horrible breakouts and I tried everything except going to a derm, before trying this. I usually get the worst breakouts around "that time of month" or when I'm really stressed I'll break out badly a few days later. I have been using this product almost two months now and for the first two weeks I noticed only a small difference, but probably a month after I had started my skin felt smoother and softer and looked better than it had for years! Needless to say I'm very happy that I can go out without face makeup and not be embarrassed!
