When I first tried it, it was nice and gentle with my skin and a few days later I started seeing results. The only problem with this product is that is sometimes leaves your face greasy, but otherwise this product was efficient with my skin

Worst freaking customer service EVER
ok... their website sucks. Fort some reasons, sometime, you just can't order online. They tell you to call them to "work on the issue"... forget that... they just give you all kind of bogus reason to force you to order by phone (I guess the telephonist get a commission). The problem is NONE of the order by telephone are right. all kinds of mistakes... wrong product, wrong quantities, wrong billing amount. You ask to talk to a supervisor... not trouble, they will call you in 60 min! loll what a joke... spent evening trying to explain to 2-3-4-5 different person WHAT is the issue... EASY: CAN'T order online! and I don't want to do it by phone because you always SCREW UP! well... at least the products works (when you can order/get the right one).

Poor Shipping Timing
Product works moderately well, but their shipping method is horrible. Shipment goes "on the truck" as late as one week after it's supposed to.

SHIPPING HASSLES, DRY SKIN AND CREDIT CARD ISSUES.
Proactiv loves to use the whole "user agreement" bullsh*t. Basically, I purchased only ONE MONTH supply of proactiv just to try it out, unpleased with my dry skin, I knew I wouldn't order again. To my suprise, I had received another package. They had charged my credit card also. As I call to try to explain to them it is unauthorised, they explain that it's part of the "user agreement" that everyone reads of course. I would have to become a member to order the product at all, but if you become a member, no matter what you buy, they ship you the product every month, and charge your credit card without a notice or reminder. You now have to go to the hassle of returning the product and dealing with their terrible customer service. If they were really enthusiastic about their product, they wouldn't make it a necessity to pay with credit card, but PayPal. I believe this company is about the money and seems to pay big dollars for the celebrities that advertise it. P.s only temporarily helped my skin, as soon as you stop, you break out. Hmm... Coincidence? I think not. Don't buy unless you want dry skin, to be hassled, and experience terrible customer service.

Mixed feelings...
My GP put me on a four month waiting list to see a dermatologist when I was 14. In the meant time my aunt (who swears by this stuff) came home to Ireland for a holiday begging me to try it and seeing as I was desperate, I surrendered. I used the three step system right up until I stepped foot into the derms office so yeah I'm a believer in giving things time to work so I can come back here and give a decent review for you people:) Here goes... I used this as recommended-twice per day. Id do the three steps in the morning and by mid day I would be completely oil slick like you could fry multiple eggs AND bacon on my face and there would still be oil left over. This however was "easily" solved with many, many tissues. Bear in mind also that I have an oily t zone only and this oil slick look would cover my face. My face also looked extremely red and sun-burnt at about the one month mark (which is probably attributed to the BP) and when your granny asks at a family reunion if you sat out in the sun too long you know it looks terrible. Lol! My nightly routine would have the same effect. Id do the regimen outlined and wake up to see my face "shine bright like a diamond";D I believe that this system did work for me but only to a degree. I still got a cyst a week when using this but it did look like it made some improvement. When the time came for me to visit the derm he said "I wish I had seen your face before you started Proactiv". He also said that it looked like I was having a "good day". So I guess it did work but all in all, I didn't feel like looking red, scary and greasy 24/7 and yes the redness and oil would even poke through my makeup. If you want to try it be my guest, you will never know unless you try it. We don't all have the same skin type. It may work better for you than it did for me:) I feel like this would work best on someone with light/mild acne and I would steer clear of it if you have oily skin. My theory is that the bp was so drying it stripped the moisture from the skin thus making the skin produce more oil to counteract the dryness. And we all know oil is a contributing factor to even more acne. Having said that I would recommend this for someone with less severe acne and a different skin type to me as I said above. Thanks for reading. Remember to smile through your acne. It doesn't define you as a person. xxx

Love
Proactive, you've saved my face so many times. Even if I can't use you when my skin is clear, and you cease to be effective on a long-term breakout (because BP sucks,) you resolve 90% of my acne like nothing else has before or since. I'll keep coming back.

YES.. I would recommend this product for anyone who is struggling with Acne.
I had Adult Acne and this product did work for me. I only used the cleanser once a day and treatment once a day as when I used it as recommended (twice a day) my skin dried out too much. You have to give it a good try (at least a month) to see if it will work for you. I was very happy with the results and have been using it for about 4 months now. I use my own moisturizer that I buy at the drug store because I like it and it has SPF in it.

Not worth the money
Moderate acne. Fell for this as a teenager. Used it for over a year. It helped some with the acne but not much more than OTC treatments. Left my skin with bad texture and looking desperate. I've since had better luck with home remedies. I think part of the problem is we always attack our face instead of nourishing and supporting it. Proactive did nothing to nourish my skin leaving is looking half-dead.

Worst Acne Product I've tried
I only tried this because I can't seem to find my usual product anywhere, and when I was visiting my father I found a brand new unopened kit, and his wife said I could keep it. As it didn't cost me anything I decided to try it. Well, turns out, it only makes my acne worse. I've dried different products over the years, some worked better than others, some didn't even work at all, but I've never had a product before that made my acne worse.
