Pros:

-Got rid of my major breakouts

Cons:

-Full of harsh chemicals that bleached my eyebrows and hairline
-Skin becomes immune and you start to break out again
-Left me with acne scars

I never had SEVERE acne before using proativ so I thought it would definately work on my major breakout areas. Yeah, it got rid of the big breakouts; but my skin got used to the product and started to break out again anyway. I think the cleanser was WAY too rough for my skin because it was only AFTER I had used proactiv that I realised it has left tonnes of red acne scars under my skin. Not to mention that I'd have to get my eyebrows tinted every 2 weeks or so because the harsh chemicals would bleach them blonde! Overall it really didn't do much to my skin except leave me with more problems.

Pros:

Has really cleared up my mild acne. I only use the repairing lotion occasionally, usually during hormonal times! Toner is refreshing and skin feels so smooth and glows.

Cons:

I buy it on Ebay because I don't want to get roped into a buying contract type thing. Moisturizer did make me break out, I am going to try the green tea one.

Really like it, does well on my skin.

Pros:

easy to use, completely cleared my skin

this product began working pretty soon after i started using it (about 4 months ago) and my skin has gotten progressively better since. i didnt have severe acne, but my occasional breakouts and whiteheads have completely stopped. the 3 step system is great, but you do need an additional lotion to keep skin from drying out. people who said it burned and their skin got too dry should just use it less often. i use the cleanser and toner every morning and night and then the refining lotion only at night and sometimes every other night. their green tea lotion is great and soothing, but i find any light, oil free face lotion works well with it. also, it lasts a really long time. i only purchase the cleanser and toner every 2 months or so and the refining lotion lasts even longer..more like 3 months. if possible buy it at a mall kiosk or something so you can get the products individually. i would definitely recommend this product.

Pros:

It reduced the amount of acne. It helped just generally give me less break outs. Your face feels really good after you use it.

Cons:

I have acne scarring that did not improve at all.
It does not eliminate ALL acne just a decent amount.

I have very sensitive skin and it bothered my skin for the first one or two times using this product. Then after some time the acne got alot better. However; you can not stop using it because the acne will come back.

Pros:

Wonderful product! No more surprise breakouts when you wake up. Used consistantly keeps acne at bay. Refining mask is great for on the spot issues!

Cons:

Can be drying. It is important to use a moisturizer after the skin repairing lotion. I thought that was the lotion as well until my face started peeling! Pro Activ has an oil-free, and a green tea lotion for everday use that works well with the 3

Pros:

left skin smooth once it was used to the product, refining mask really works

Cons:

been using it for a year now and it hasn't rid of it completely but has rid of it mostly

is that it works for some and not for others. it's worth a try.

expensive and it made my skin worse

I have very mild acne and I wanted to try proactive to clear up and prevent break outs too ellimant scaring and dark spots. For the first week i did not notice any change in my skin, but as i continued to use the product i started to get large painful pus filled blemishes across my chin and along my hairline that i later had to go to the dermatologists to get rid of. I never had break outs like that until I tried Proactive. In the end i threw out the cleanser and only kept the toner and lotion.

Pros:

It cleared up my face. Works better than anything I have tried in the past.

Cons:

only dryness/irritation I show is when I get too close to my eyes. Other than that, not too happy with the price either.

My face looks better than it has since I was 16 years old. It's never had blemish free periods until now. Do I still have breakouts?... rarely, but it quickly clear up, then my face is clear again for months. Oh, my face is ridiculously oily- maybe that's why Proactive doesn't dry out my skin. Oh yeah, I also use more than the recommended amount. Dime size??? yeah right. Maybe dime size per each quadrant of my face. I guess that's why I go thru the bottles so fast and complain about the price! But bottom line is it works for me and I am extremely happy. Wish I had started it sooner.

Pros:

the refining mask helped to get rid of really bad pimples..

Cons:

...nothing else worked. it made my skin dry, raw, flaky, and so much worse than before i started.

proactiv is useless unless you have really oily skin. if you have normal or dry skin it just completely wrecks it. IF you are one of the few people it seems to work on, your skin begins to develop a dependance on it, and when you stop using it you get 100x worse than before you started. WASTE OF MONEY, YOU ARE JUST PAYING FOR BIG ADVERTISEMENTS WITH STUPID CELEBRITIES!

Pros:

At first it was taking the acne away and I was pleased.

Cons:

I have been using this stuff for two years now and my face is a disaster. I am getting little bumps all over, I have white discolorations all over my face. If I stop using it my acne gets worse than before.

I only wished I could go back to the mild acne I had and have my old face back. Yes, this stuff does, for the most part, keep normal acne away, but it destroys your face in the process. Now I don't know what I am going to do to fix it. The Dermatologist mentioned Fraxel to take away some of the bumps and discoloration. This is a nightmare! Don't get hooked on this product. It may help to start but down the road you will regret it, trust me.
