Pros:

Cleared up some stubborn bumps I've had for years, does what it says it will do. Skin was very smooth.

Cons:

First day or two my skin was red, had to get used to the product but then it was alright

I've had acne since I was 6 years old! Accutane helped get it under control in high school, and now I just have some red areas/bumps/occassional nasty cystic pimple. Proactiv helped all that!

Pros:

it does an ok job of clearing up some of the acne

Cons:

funny people are saying its drying there face, mine seems to be more oily with this product. esp when i use the toner and lotion.

if you have bad acne its best to see a dermatologist. nothing is going to be a cure.

Pros:

helped my acne

Cons:

overdrying

At first I used all three Proactiv products twice a day like the instructions tell you to do, but my face became VERY dry! I was using a ton of moisturizer and my face was still dry. I decided not to give up and instead only use the cleanser twice a day and the other two products I only use every once in a while or when I have a break-out. My acne is not completely gone, but the Proactiv definitely helps and by using the products less my face is not so dry. My advice is to give it a try and if it is too drying or irritating to your skin, then just use it less and see what happens. Though my acne is not completely gone, I am still happy with Proactiv because it keeps me from breaking out so often and my skin is clearer and smoother.

Pros:

It really does work

Cons:

It takes a long time to show results...you have to stick to the regimen

I purchased this for my 11yo daughter who has had acne for about one year. I have seen results since she has been using it, but when she misses a day or two it seems the acne looks worse or comes right back. I belive its a good product when followed to the hilt.

Pros:

clears up acne really well but not all of it

Cons:

If you skip a day by accident you will BREAK OUT A LOT!! Once you start you will never be able to STOP.

DON'T BUY IT!!! Once you stop using the product your face breaks out worse than EVER. PLEASE DON'T BUY it unless you are ready to spend the time and money to use it everyday for the rest of your life.

Pros:

I DONT KNOW WHAT U GUYS R TALKING ABOUT!I LOOOOOOOVE proactiv! i didnt dry out my skin, and cleared most of my acne within 2 weeks.
and i adore the refining mask =D

Cons:

the smell is a little strong, but definately worth it =D. and acne increases slightly initially, but clears up fast after that.

i hav moderately severe acne, having anywhere from 10 to 30 pimples on my face @ any 1 time, so while i still hav a few pimples left, its a HUGE IMPROVEMENT from what i looked like before! no joke, while it sounds like it doesnt work 4 everybody, it definately worked 4 me, and u should giv it a try.

Pros:

it worked well when it actually worked

Cons:

too high-maintenance and time-consuming, way too expensive for the quality of the product

i used this regimen for about 2 years. it took about a month to see any results and then i was relatively clear for a while. after about a year and a half it just stopped working and i got annoyed. who wants to pay that much when it no longer works?

Pros:

Gets rid of most acne and redness, skin looks even and has a smoother texture.

Cons:

Left my face very dry for the first few weeks, the bottles break easily. You have to avoid sunlight/ultraviolet exposure & therefore must also use a sunscreen.

Proactiv has worked well for me, although I can only use it once a day because it really dries out my face because of this I have to use a moisturiser after the repairing lotion. You may need to adjust the amount you use, and build up your usage slowly to avoid peeling/redness.

Pros:

it opens pores so u can easily push out pus. makes skin feel smooth. the 2nd step (light blue bottle) gets rid of dirt and dry skin.

Cons:

Leaves face very oily after use.leaves dry skin around eyebrows & hair line. increases sunlight sensitivity.

make sure u get oil removing pads
