Pros:

Makes my skin feel soft and smooth, Less Breakouts, Reduced Pore size.

Cons:

Still get a few pimples, but Hey, I'm a hormonal teenager, and those that I do get aren't as Large and Firey as before. Sometimes I run out of the Toner before my next shipment is due.

I was given Proactiv a few months ago, I'm Currently in a Theatre Production and the producers wanted me to get better skin. (This does mean they currently pay the bill, but I will be continuing after that finishes) My Acne wasn't terrible. I did however have alot of blackheads on and around my nose, very oily skin and I almost constantly had a large pimple under the skin of my Nose or Chin. Since using the product my skin has become less Oily, and softer, I no longer have and blackheads on my nose and I dont get as many large pimples. I do however still get pimples under my skin, but these only last 3 days at the most, dont break the surface of my skin and are almost colorless. It also Bleaches my skin and towels, meaning I no longer have freckles (not complaining!!) Proactiv works for me, It isn't a Miracle cure but it does make my skin Look and Feel better. I will continue using this product.

Pros:

Some of it smelled nice

Cons:

Proactiv fails to inform you of the subscription plan that automatically enrolls you and charges you $20 a month, simply does not work for anything more than very light acne

When I first bought proactive, it came with a face wash, some sort of blue astringent, and the BP lotion. The face wash smelled nice. That was about it. Had some exfoliating beads that felt like they were ripping my face apart. For me, the astringent roughly had the same effects as some cold water. Only is stung and wreaked of alcohol. The lotion was like glue that stuck to my face. I have to lend it to Proactiv though, the product inspired me to stop buying these sort of products and turn to a dermatologist. The ONLY reason Proactiv has over 10 million customers is because it is marketed so well and so much, NOT because it works well. 6 months of Accutane cleared me right up. Now I use a Neutrogena face wash twice a day that does dry out my face a little...but that's what these things are meant to do. If you're like me and are desperately searching for a solution, don't reach for Proactiv. It will fail you. See a dermatologist.

Pros:

Green Tea Moisturiser is pretty nice

Cons:

Did not make my skin any better. In fact my skin cleared up after i stoped using it.

In the comercials they make the bottles look normal size. When I opened the practive box, I was kind of shocked to find 1 and 2 oz bottles... not what I was expecting.

Pros:

Works well most of the time

Cons:

Right now its failing me! Did they change their formula recently?

I've used it for almost 5 years it has been amazing especially at first! Seriously great. I mean yeah I still had a few zits here and there but nothing like the facefull I had prior to it. Yeah my skin dried out but you know what? I'll take Dry flakes ANY DAY over huge red spots on my face. You can put moisurizer on dry skin to hide it. BUt now all of a sudden I am breaking out TERRIBLY! This started a week ago so who knows maybe its me, hormones, stress etc. Not ruling those out. HOWEVER I did notice about 3 months ago that all of a sudden the cleanser felt different, much finer granuels. Less coarse. I can't help but wonder did they cheapen up their formula? And is that why my face is a mess right now? If anyone agrees with me please let me know!

Pros:

It worked at first.

Cons:

Stopped working. Period.

I got small breakouts once a month, so I thought I'd give Proactiv a shot since everyone was hyped about it. It made my skin beautiful for about a year (but remember, I didn't have bad skin to begin with!). After about a year, I began breaking out horribly and for no apparent reason (no one in my family has ever had problems with acne). Also, my skin became so oily, it looked like I was sweating all the time. Gross!! I have stopped using it and I'm going back to what always worked before and should have stuck with: Noxzema.

Pros:

start seeing results immediately

Cons:

pimples come back after you stop using it.
dries out your skin

if you have painful acne and you just dread the thought of looking at yourself in the mirror, proactiv is a lifesaver. in only three days of using it, people were commenting on how much my skin has cleared up, and my family members who have used proactiv in the past, immediately knew what i was using. trust me, if you want clear, beautiful skin, use proactiv. you won't regret it. as for the dry skin, after the first two weeks, it starts to go away. i'm so pleased with this product, i want to share it with everybody !

Pros:

None.

Cons:

Dry/irritated skin. Did not make my face clear, made me look OLDER and red, blotchy skin. Smells bad. Absolutely awful.

Don't get tricked into buying this product because Jessica Simpson uses it. Bottom line, she is an idiot... and so are you if you think this product will work for you.

Pros:

It has reduced my acne by about 75% and the breakouts I get now are not as severe.

Cons:

Doesn't seem to help with blackheads.

It costs me about 40.00 a month, but it is enough for myself and my daughter. We both use the product once a day. I think the most important part of the process is to wash with the cleanser for at least one minute. I actually have to count to 60 while I wash. I think my biggest problem before was not washing for long enough.

Pros:

the mask, the oil free moisturizer, and the skin lightening cream.

Cons:

toner does sting a little sometimes, and rarely i do notice some dryness (that is eliminated once i put moisturizer on)

When i first started using proactiv, i thought that the ads were a fake because i didn't see results right away and stopped using it after less than a month. but i started using it again last year, and its worked great. my problem initially was that i wasn't consistent which is definitly a key factor with whatever you use. I use it twice a day now and my skin has definitly cleared up. Acne scars that I've had for 5 years plus have faded thanks to the mask and recently i've begun using the skin lightening cream. i recomend proactiv to all of my friends. My main piece of advice is to not get discouraged when results aren't seen right away. give it time. sometimes it gets worse before it gets better, but it does get better!
