Pros:

PRICE! and a winning formula of 2.5 benzoyl peroxide.

Cons:

packaging. the bottles can leak, but this is only a minor annoyance for a truly great product

i had light acne and used proactiv for three yrs, but when i moved abroad i didn't want to deal with the membership system and s&h fees. once my proactiv ran out, i soon started to break out again. i knew benzoyl peroxide worked for me, but i tried to manage without. when a friend visited from back home, i asked her to bring over klear action. i was impressed by their use of the same ingredients as proactiv and was desperate for an economical solution. after just a few days of using KA, my acne started clearing up as it had with proactiv before. my skin looks great, and i am so happy! i would recommend KA to anyone who saw results with proactiv. there are, however, some drawbacks (as with proactiv). if you have sensitive skin, the formula may be a little harsh. i find that reducing the application helps, and a good moisturizer is a must. just as a correction to a prev post, the KA cleanser does have scrubbers, just like proactiv. all in all, i am completely won over by KA! a must have!

Similar to Proactiv
I think it's a cheaper knock-off of proactive. Which also did NOT work for me :( But the customer service is better and I was able to return it for a refund with no problem.

Pros:

I got it very cheap on sale,seems to work,leaves skin feeling great

Cons:

takes a while to work

it work after like 3 days and i got it very cheap better price than proactive and have the same ingitience.

Pros:

Face soap has a little bit of grit in it that exfoliates my skin. Clears up acne great. Less costly than proactiv.

Cons:

None.

Finally something has been working so well and for so long I almost forget that I have an acne problem. This system plus using Paula's Choice Beta Hydroxy lotion .5% (just in the morning, after the toner but before the benzol peroxide) seems to work for me. My skin needs to keep exfoliated. I used to think that I had dry skin because it would often flake off. I would put lotions on my face which was the wrong thing to do. It kept the skin building up on my face when what I actually needed to be doing was getting rid of the extra skin. Now in addition to using this genle face cleanser I also somtimes even gently rub by face in the shower and skin just peels off. IfI use the Paula's Choice beta hydroxy more than once a day, I don't have as good of results.

Is it supposed to make your skin red? I just used it for the first time and Now it looks like I have rashes on my face. They don't hurt or anything but it's kinda freaking me out.

Pros:

CLEARS acne FAST, quick and easy to use, cheap!, good ingredients

Cons:

chemical smell (but I've gotten used to it and it isn't terribly strong), dries my skin, bleaches, if I miss a day my skin begins to break out, only lasts a month

This product is AMAZING! I will not try anything else now that I have used Klear Action. My skin is, for the most part, clear. I break out from stress and the stage makeup that I am required to wear for the play I am in. I started using this right in the middle of a very stressful time and when I was wearing stage makeup for long periods of time. I doubted that Klear Action would be able to help me. I was pleasantly shocked when it not only fought against new break outs, but cleared the tough acne I had. I have tried many (and I mean MANY) kits and other products before and nothing else has done such a marvelous job. As far as Cons go I have to buy a moisturizer to use at night as some parts on my face begin to get dry. I also have to be careful because it does bleach fabric and hair. It don't really like the smell and I find that some kits have more beads in them than others. Lastly, I missed one day and my skin began to break out, so be careful! Oh and it only lasts me a month.

The acne treatment was the best acne treatment that I had ever tried.

Pros:

It works, and it works well.

Cons:

If you miss a day, you're screwed.

I've tried several competitors products, but there are none that I have found that work as well as this one. I wouldn't have stopped using the product but for some reason it is no longer distributed in my area. There has been nothing that has been able to generate the consistency and clarity of my skin that this product has. But, don't miss a day, because whatever it's doing, stops after you miss a day, and you'll more than likely have a few new "friends" on your face. And I give packaging a 2 because I can't get all three bottles to finish even close to the same time.

Pros:

It works almost immediately and does exactly what it claims with no odors or irritation.

Cons:

I run out of the cleanser way too fast.

A must have part of my bacne treatment/prevetion program.
