rogue g
I have used all the Q10 products from Garnier, Roc, and Clinique. I can't say for certain it has helped reduce any fine lines on my face, I have very few at age 34. I have however been using the Somaluxe Firming Lotion (for my face) and I have very few wrinkles and the skin around my eyes is quite supple and taut (although this could just be good genes and nothing to do with the product). The Somaluxe Firming Lotion is not like Roc or Clinque where you have to act like the product is gold dust and use sparingly. . .its a large bottle which I like. It lasts a long time.

good but not for drier skin
I bought this from Debenhams a few months ago, I paid under £20 for it which I feel reasonable as I normally pay around this amount for foundation. The MUA matched my skin color really well so it looks very natural which is good & it comes in a variety of colors for every skin tone. The foundation works well to hide & conceal redness of the skin & does hide spots and blemishes well too. I would advise to use a proper skincare routine & not rely solely on this blemish treatment foundation. The only problem I have with this foundation is that its finish is very matte, it dried my skin quite a lot so I feel it is not suited for normal/dry skin. More suited for oily skin! The MUA in the shop recommend I pair it with a highlighter such as benefit high beam but I feel it doesn't make much difference. I still continue to use this product as the benefits outweigh the cons. A good tip is to apply lots of moisturizer when using to relive dryness

If you want a "skin clearing" foundation this is it
I don't think this actually cleared my skin any, or at all for that matter, but it's an "acne" foundation, so if finding that word somewhere on the package is detrimental to you then this is your foundation. I'm a medium skin tone and I have heard complaints from the fairer skin tones, but that seems to be an issue across the board with foundations, so don't get discouraged. I don't use this foundation anymore because I don't think it's extraordinary and I don't want to pay for brand or the fact that it's an "acne solution". It does have great coverage and has great staying power. That being said if you have drier skin you'll need to make sure you're wearing an adequate moisturizer and if you're oily, baby you already know you're face is gonna be oily in four hours regardless of what foundation you wear, so pack the powder. I do like this and I think it's good, but I think there drugstore foundations that are just as good at half the price they just don't have "acne" on them.

Pros:

Helps the acne

Cons:

Orangey

Okay so, I am currently using this and its not bad. I mean it covers up the problems and that's what you want right? Well anyway, I'm very pale and it does give me a little bit of an orange tint. I have been thinking about blending it in with another type of foundation (any brand) that is a little bit lighter and seeing what happens then. I heard that works. OH, and it kinda lasts long. But not too long. After a while it does look flaky.

Pros:

Cover well
didn't break me out

Cons:

cakey
really pink undertones
hard to build up
oxidizes into a darker shade

This was overall an average product for my skin, however it was wayy too pink for my yellow complexion. It's also quite hard to build up as it did tend to get cakey. Also, it oxidizes into a shade darker so you have to buy a shade lighter. The great thing was that it didn't break me out.

Pros:

Very good coverage, matches well with my skin tone, fights acne while on your skin, stays on all day, doesn't make skin look too oily or dry

Cons:

A little weary about putting on under eye since it contains benzoyl peroxide and your not supposed to put any harsh chemicals under eye, however, no problems have occured!
At first, my eyes took a reaction; red, puffy and dry but upon further use there has been no more of that!
Rubs off easily, tears, sweat or water make lines in the makeup

Very pleased with this product, it makes my skin very even-toned, great coverage and covers acne very well while fighing it!

Pros:

- Great buildable coverage: I would say one thin layer gives you medium coverage but it can easily be built up for more without looking cakey
- Treats acne while wearing it: Although I'm unsure how well it treats acne, it makes me feel better that my foundation is anti acne
- Controls oil: This product controls oil like no other!
- Long lasting: Looks natural and stays on the face all day
- Easy to use packaging

Cons:

- Limited shade selection: not nearly enough shades to get a good color match

If you're struggling with acne, try out this foundation. Clinique has a great return policy, if it doesn't work for you, just return it! I know I'm not supposed to be wearing foundation especially with my skin condition but this product has anti-acne properties which makes me feel a lot better about wearing it. Even though I don't see huge results with this product alone in terms of clearing up my acne, I can definitely say it did not do more harm. If anything my skin has been improving (but I'm using a combination of many different products). Great foundation for oily skin. This really controls oil! Overall great product and I would definitely recommend it!!!

Oxidises, oily, caused cystic acne
upon applying this foundation, even the lightest shade was too dark. It also makes the texture of acne look even worse! The foundation oxidises throughout the day, looking very orange - by no means a natural shade. I have given it 2 stars because it is very full coverage and covers all redness. The foundation does not stay on for very long and became oily after just a few hours. After just a few uses of this foundation, my acne broke out in cystic acne. I have re-visited this foundation and tried to use it in multiple different ways however the flaws still exist for me! Definitely would not recommend for someone with acne.

have repurchased many times
Im not sure if this foundation actually does help your acne in terms of calming breakouts but generally it works really well for me. It goes on well with a beauty blender and has high enough coverage to conceal all my current breakouts as well as any hyper pigmentation I have left over from old spots. I do sometimes get bit oily on my chin throughout the day when wearing this but its nothing that a bit of powder can't fix and it comes in a shade pale enough to match me which is a great bonus as with many foundations I've tried in the past even the palest shade is too dark. I hate spending lots of money on makeup but this is something that i'll happily fork out for, and its not as expensive as other high end brands.

Not the foundation for me but don't rule out Clinique entirely!
This foundation gave me light-medium coverage, dried up my skin and left me with more blackheads and rough patches. However, I did find my skin was less oily at the end of the day than my skin is with other foundations. Clinique do a wide range of oil free foundations and even though not aimed at acne prone skin I am finding their stay matte oil-free make up to be best for my skin right now.
