Pros:

I only have breakouts once a month and I generally use Neutrogena products. Tried this as a sample, and bought more right away. My skin feels so soft and the acne is gone in two days as opposed to 5 with Neutrogena. Does not dry my skin at all.

Cons:

The price. I love that it is sold as a system, but for $32.50 for three small bottles, I will be using this sparingly and keeping to Neutrogena in between breakouts.

If you have the extra cash, it is so worth it. I can't speak for people who have severe acne, but it definitely meets the needs of those of us who have our "monthly" breakouts and a few stress pimples in between.

Pros:

Gentle, doesn't dry my skin unless I use too much of the spot treatment.

Cons:

Can get expensive - and isn't treating my summer skin as well.

I have the whole line - recently added the body bar and body spray , in the hopes of clearing of my chest and back. Plus, my face is even breaking out more now, so much so that I'm working from home today, since one of my eyes is swollen half shut from a zit on my eyebrow!! Seems that it's not strong enough to combat summer sweat. Plus working out has caused my body to break out more and Clinique isn't fixing it. I've tried Proactiv and some Target-purchased stuff - not sure if I'll stick with Clinique or not.

Pros:

Fast results, very easy to use.

Cons:

Smells a little like paint & the moisterizer makes skin feels dry.

I have very mild acne. I am 24, I have had cleared skin all throughout my like until about 5 months ago. I guess stress just took a toll on me. My friend recommended the 3 step system from clinique, so I went out & tried it. The lady at the counter said I should get the regular kind considering I don't have full blown acne. It worked well the fist 2 weeks but then I would breakout with 1 to 5 pimple a week. So I just purchased the acne 3 step system starter kit & so far I can see a tremendous change. Yes, it does make my face dry & stings just a little bit (because my skin is very sensitive) but not as bad a proctive did. For the dryness I would use the moisterizer for dry skin. & Afterwards I would use the spot treatment & then the acne treated concealer. Right now it's working wonderfully for me!

Pros:

no scent to aggravate skin, not too harsh on skin, easy to dispense, slowly pulls out deep imbedded dirts and oils (blackheads, white heads)

Cons:

i guess so far the only con would be the dry tightness you may feel if you do not use dramaticaly different lotion in the morning

i have some really really stubborn acne. ive definately been through it all and nothing has seemed to work as well as this is in the first week even! my face feels very smooth, and i noticed a few small white heads, which probably is my skin being purged, no oilyness or dry patches, and it seems as if my blackheads are fading and my pores are getting tighter(less noticable) all i need now is something for the red marks!!

Pros:

IT WORKS!!!
Gives you super glowing skin without makeup!!!

Cons:

Bit costly...
The foaming wash is not very effective in removing makeup or moisturizer.

This is the first proper acne treatment I've ever used and I wasn't expecting such good results. But it worked wonders for my skin. I always dreamed of having clear skin and now my skin is now so clear and glowing that I don't need to put any makeup on to cover my flaws. All my friends keep praising me for the lovely skin I have now. The only problem is that if you skip your routine for a couple of days your skin starts getting acne again...So you have to follow the routine religiously. I wish it also helped develop some immunity against acne too when you're not using it.

Pros:

Clears skin quickly
Makes skin feel clean
Softens skin
Fragrance Free

Cons:

Drying
3rd Step Runs out Quicker than the others
Price

From the first day I have used Clinique, my face has cleared up. I dont have very many pimples to begin with so this was able to clear almost all of them away in one day. The price isnt terrible, but it is a little expensive if you are buying it every month. It dried out my skin quite a bit so I have been using another moisturizer(Garnier Nutritionist Moisture Rescue Gel Cream). I would definitely reccomend it to people with light to moderate acne.

Pros:

Cleared my skin rather quickly and made it look more healthy and even toned.

Cons:

Doesn really prevent breakouts around "that time of the month"

I have been using the clinique acne line for about a month and my skin doesnt break out as often and looks healthier and more even toned. I tend to breakout around my period time and it doesnt really prevent that but it helps clear it quickly.

Pros:

Clears acne, smooths and softens skin.

Cons:

Stinks, pricey, and is not intended to aid in scarring, thus need another product. Tip--ask for sample.

Ok, I'm back giving my review again. It's been over a month now using Clinique. My acne did clear out, but then I put on some make up I got from Walmart--Iman I think its called and broke out real bad this past Friday. I put on the spot treatment, and that helped reduce the break out but didn't eliminate it. When to DIllards today and talked with the rep, she put on an acne fighting foundation and told me to call her to see how it worked. So, now I've did my acne solution regime cleaned everything off, and guess what, my break out cleared up even with the makeup on. She explained to me how the products work together between the different lines in clinique and said i could bring in the stuff from walmart to see what can help or hurt my progress. So far, clinique is doing its thang!
