Pros:

I use Clinique products (foundation, eyeliner) which I love, but ...

Cons:

this did not work. The specialist completely misdiagnosed my skin, which resulted in severe acne with severe dryness.

I used this consistently until the bottles were gone. They did nothing but exacerbate my acne and dry skin. My skin was very dry, cracked, peeling when I went to the clinique counter for help. she said i had oily skin and recommended this system. it is cheaper to go to the dermatologist.

Pros:

My face doesn't feel very oily throughout the day

Cons:

Does not get rid of my acne at all, dries up skin

Before using this, my face wasn't too bad, I didn't need to use cover up or anything. After about two and a half weeks of using this, my face is completely dried out, flaky, AND broken out! My face looks terrible, and not only is it red and flaky, I've gotten the big, red, painful kind of zits, and I never have gotten those before. And while I used to get acne around the edges of my face, I now am getting zits right in the middle of my forehead and all over my cheeks. This product did the complete opposite of what it was supposed to!

Pros:

smooth skin after a few weeks

Cons:

got a few breakouts though ... and skin peeling... and oily on the t-zone

I'm still in the stage of trying this out... so i'm still waiting for the "end result".. i bought the whole acne system plus i bought the "special" moisturizer, the 7-day scrub cream ...

Pros:

Works really well for oily skin, made my T-Zone look better after just two uses. I like the packaging and the products felt nice going on my skin.

Cons:

I have combination skin and my cheeks are usually dry. After only one use, they felt oddly bumpy and warm. I foolishly put it on my cheeks a second time, and now they are burning hot and red, and irritated. I would use ONLY on seriously oily skin!

I am probably going to return this product. I was hoping to use it to clear up my occasional T-Zone blemishes (since the Clinique counter lady said I could) but obviously it is made for much oilier, acne prone skin. I probably could have used it when I was a teenager instead of Accutane, because it seems to be pretty effective so far. Unfortunately, it seems to really irritate my sensitive/combination skin. My face does better with my $20 bottle of Biore than it does with this $90 package.

A fine product, but not worth the money

Pros:

Works fine
Not particularly irritating

Cons:

Expensive
Only the clarifying lotion is worth it
Not exceptional

I use only the clarifying lotion. It works alright, and doesn't leave my skin irritated or dry even if I use it twice in a day, as long as I follow it with moisturizer (I use an oil-free neutrogena moisturizer with SPF rather than this one). The clarifying lotion is, in my opinion, the only part of this system that is a good amount of product for your money; at my mall I can buy it separately, but that might not be offered everywhere. It doesn't work better or worse than any other cleanser I've tried.

Pros:

Got the result after first use
Cleaned out my acne

Cons:

Very drying
Skin became very oily after couple months of continuos using
Got acne scars

I really liked when I first purchased it. I got horrible breakouts and couple of blemishes so the Clinique helped to calm my skin and kept acne under control. After couple of weeks of using it, I started getting acne scars. I never had acne scars in my life. I guess this product was way too harsh on my sensitive skin. After using the product for 3 months I didn't notice any improvements on skin, I've decided to stop using it.

Pros:

- cleared some of my acne

Cons:

- very expensive for not much product
- very drying
- still experienced breakouts

I just used the moisturizer for the 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. It definitely was NOT moisturizing, but it made a noticeable difference with my acne. It's way more economical and effective just to use a separate BP and moisturizer, though.

Pros:

After the first few days my skin seemed clearer. But for some reason i got about five new pimples. So i guess i'll wait and see what it does for me in the next month or so.

Cons:

It makes my skin feel a bit tight. I wouldnt say my skin is softer. My skin i still gets oily just the same as before i started using this product.

i dont think its really worth it, for now at least. Just like every other acne treatment like proactive and all, they all DO NOT WORK! After im done with this product im going to a doctor! If it doesnt help of course. Good luck to who ever is using it. Also, keep in mind that certain things work better for certain skin types.

Pros:

keeps skin tone consistant- if moisturizer isn't used

Cons:

dries out skin and acne multiplies and multiplies

I at first bought the first two steps and used those what happened was they worked together to keep my skin from breaking out any worse. Then I decided to buy the moisturizer because I thought that would make a differance and would clear skin up. No, that was the last thing it did, it dried up my skin and gave me breakouts in places on my face where i had never had them before. The product isnt really worth the money

Pros:

Less Oily

Cons:

Acne still hanging around

Of all the products that I have used (and its been a lot) I like this line from Clinique. I have oily skin and using this product line I do not experience the oily skin like I did before. I have not experienced any drying. If you can afford it I would recommend it. Its great! Course what works for one individual will not necessarily work for other. Best of luck!
