Pros:

worked really well, seemed to me u could see it working.

Cons:

Clarfying lotion stings a litle, and soap smells really bad.

GET IT IF U HAVE ACNE! it works!

Pros:

Cleared up Acne

Cons:

VERY drying

I enjoy this product's effectiveness for a couple weeks, I noticed towards the end of the bottle that I was breaking out into a rash. I had gotten a spray tan during and thought that maybe I was allergic to the spray tan, so I scrubbed it off. My rash continued. So I bought Burt's Bees Deep cleansing wash and I shampooed my carpets, deep cleaned my bed and washed my dogs thinking it was something they brought in. My rash went away, all was fine. Well I bought this product again and two days after using I noticed the rash was back. :( I love the product, but it is too much for my skin. So I decided to go back to their original 3-Step System. My skin care relies on Clinique, I even only use their makeup. That's how dedicated I am to this line.

Pros:

I used the moisturizing gel and liquid facial soap and it got rid of my redness and most of my pimples almost immediately. The moisturizing gel really works and it made my used to be dry face feel really good and smooth and clean.

Cons:

It can be expensive, and there are some spots where the pimples didn't completely go away.

It works 99% of the time, and it really made my skin feel good.

Pros:

My skin is less oily, and very smooth.
Cleared up most of my acne

Cons:

Still get random little breakouts. nothing too severe.
Takes a while for skin to clear up (couple of weeks)

currently using the REGUALR Clinique 3-step (not the acne solutions) I started breaking out real bad on my forehead in February. Then it spread to my chin. I started using the REGULAR 3-step and my acne is getting a lot better. It also makes my skin a lot smoother and healthier. If the normal 3-step works well, Acne Solutions probably works wonders for even more severe acne

Pros:

The face wash is excellent! It cleared up my face and works very well with Clinique's dramatically different moisturizing gel.

Cons:

Bleaches towels (but then, so do pretty much all the strong acne face washes).

When I first tried this I used all 3 steps and my skin became extremely dry and started flaking. I've since realized that this is because of the step 3 that they call a moisturizer. It doesn't really moisturize, only further dries out your skin. So I would recommend starting with just step 1 and using the other steps (sparingly) only if the first one isn't strong enough for you. I started by using the face wash 2x/day and have gone down to just 1x/day. For the second wash of the day I use carbolic soap (found at local health food stores), which is much milder but good for acne-prone skin. My acne has pretty much completely disappeared.

Pros:

This product is amazing and definately worth the money, once you get the right amounts to use on your skin of each product they should last equally as long. i have been on isotetranoin for 7yrs and its has never given as good a result as this!!

Cons:

slightly pricey and it has to be used regularly 1 or 2 times a day otherwise acne will come back quickly

definately buy this, no nasty sideaffects and skin is smooth and healthy looking, people have complained that skin gets oily again quickly but hello thats probably the reason you have acne!! a complete must have and i would recommend trying this before using horrid drugs like roaccutane or benzoyl perroxide.

Pros:

Great foaming cleanser, lotion leaves skin soft, can be purchased in a trial pack to ensure it works before you commit to full sized products.

Cons:

Is a bit more expensive.

I have tried everything for acne: proactive, and other benzol peroxide based products, I have also used several differin products and accutane. I find this product to be one that works the fastest and also one that leaves skin feeling soft. If you have sensitive skin I would recomend only using the benzol peroxide lotion once a day however if that is not an issue for you then use it as recommended. So far this is my favorite product. It is pricey but you can purchase a 4 week trial pack for 42.00 to ensure that is works before comminting to full sized products. Also Clinique offers clarifying makeup as well. I found that the clarifying powder keeps oil under control all day and helps even out skin tone. Using these products together has been perfect for me and I would recomend them to anyone!

Might be a few flaws with the system...

I am just 16 and I heard about the Clinique 3 Step System.. I have quite oily acne skin and I tried the Clinique 3 Step (Oily Formula) and right now, I have to say that my acne isn't really going away...But I have only used it only for about a week or so...So I would have to wait alittle more to see full results...But I have to say that I am hoping :) But my skin always feels good and smooth after use of the 3 Step System.

Pros:

Effectively clears up skin with continuous use. When I started I had noticed a difference within a few days. Results to more even skin tone and surface, superior oil control.

Cons:

Again this is not a cure, still get some small spots but they go away quickly. Skin can feel a little dry, especailly in winter months.

As a student it is expensive but they recently started a package which is cost effective. I fully recommend this line to anyone who has not had sucess with other products. I've used Garnier, Proactiv, and perscriptions yet this product has proven, for me, to be the most effective.

too expensive

i only bought the moisturizer because it is the only thing contains benzoyl peroxide. and i have to say it works for me even though i use very small amount. it works slowly so you have to give it time. i would definitely repurchase it since it works. one thing bad about it is the price. the moisturizer which is the only thing work for me costs $$17. too expensive and the i think it's only 2 oz. i may buy dan's treatment since i know benzoyl peroxide works for me. give it a try and take some time. oh another thing is once you use this you cannot quit it, because once you quit, you acne comes back!
