Pros:

Felt really nice and the gel did exfoliate my skin.

Cons:

The combination of the gel and lotion were too much. My skin burned and became irritated and dry. Also, I felt my skin became more oily than before, and I noticed acne is places I've never had it before.

I don't think it's worth the $60/two months. I believe it is overrated. My skin is sensitive and reacted badly to this product

Pros:

-Handy Kit
-Ships Automatically
-Effectiveness

Cons:

-Harsh Stinging ( I have a high tolerance for that, but if you don't take pain well, just be for warned!)
-Makes breakouts worse at first
-The package need ships WAY later than it says it would. so you are waiting around for it when you need it

First off, I'm 16 with moderate acne. I had small pimples on my forehead that weren't bacterial acne, but nonetheless there were enough of them to bother me. I started off using, like everyone else, alot of overthecounter items. I then used ProActiv, and after no success with that, I went to the doctor who prescribed me Retinol. I started using Murad Acne Complex on August 14 2008, I had results at first. The skin that wasn't covered in acne looked really good and bright! I was finally getting excited about my skin. But right before school started, I started breaking out where I had never broken out before, it really made me angry! It's taking me a very long time to get rid of this acne, especially the ones on the side of my nose. I've started using the Retinol in conjunction with the Murad, but yesterday my face suddenly got worse! I'm about ready to give up on it... but I figure a little longer won't hurt. I HAVE been using it inconsistantly and i know that's a huge mistake.

SLOW with helping blackheads..

I honestly did not believe that the Murad system would work so well! Within a week I was already noticing a change in my skin. It was soooo soft my complexion was for once even! and my skin was clear! I have never had horrible acne but occasionaly do get the breakouts on my forehead which are always horrible. However with this system my skin is AMAZING. I will say that i have always had tons of little black heads on my nose and chin. The ones on my chin are almost entirely gone and my nose is starting to get there however not quite as fast as with my breakouts. But seriously if you want clear skin this is for sure the way to go!

Made my face break out worse than ever.

I used this product for a full 4 weeks to try to get through the purge stage that Murad tells you about...but my skin was continually getting worse. I finally stopped using it and my skin looked better the next day. Thankfully Sephora allowed me to return everything because I spent almost $200. I definitely do not recommend this product.

-Made Skin soft
-Easy to read instructions
-Works Wonders with acne

Cons:

-Still will have a breakout every once in a while and doesn't remove blackheads sufficiently
-Will dry out your skin at first if lotion isn't applied properly
-YOU WILL BREAKOUT IN THE FIRST MONTH OK????

Murad is my REligion. Before I began using Murad I used Proactive, which was ok, but didn't seem to do the job, still giving me breakouts, and REALLY dry skin. So I switched over to Murad near Christmas in 07 and WOW! Even the bumps under my bangs and around my hairline, Murad got! The only problem is it didn't sufficiantly remove blackheads, and another thing, if you arn't switching over from an 'effective' cleanser then YOU WILL BREAK OUT, because it's taking out the dirt from your pores. But if you have patience and use the prduct as instructed YOU WILL HAVE AMAZING RESULTS!!!

Pros:

the Lotion is nice and the face wash used to give my face that fresh feeling however it doesn't anymore...even skin tone now after stop of constant use for about a month or two.

Cons:

it stings, makes more come up, reddens face, thins my skin.

not worth it for those with thin skin or sensive skin like they claim. i used to use the whole three steps everyday till i couldn't stand the fact that i looked like a tomato and used the face wash only at night, but then the exfoliating thing really isn't making any pimples go away or anything i still break out a lot so i don't think it's worth it on my skin. I've been using this since April 2007!

I F**KIN HATE MURAD WHAT AN AWFUL COMPANYY LIANG TO CUSTOMERS AND MAKING THEM FEEL WORSE THEN THEY ALREADY FEEEL ok so first my skin had occasional break outs on one cheek and on my chin now its EVERYWHERE ITS NASTYYY my selfesteem is really low i feel like a butter face cause i have a nice body but my pimples just ruin me when guys come up to me i feel so insicure about my face and its THE WORSE i got all these little pimples every single place and these big cysty ones on my cheeks my face f**king HURTS like hell AND UGHH i hate this f**kin feeling i was so excited for this f**kin product but i cant believe the results this is so devastating :(

i started using this sh*t 3 weeks ago and my acne are just getting worse and is all over my face . in places i had never have a zip before . and after reading this wed site now i know is not just me . this product is actual crap . and the price is so high in aust . i will never recommended this sh*t to anyone . is the worse thing tht cud ever happened to me . i am going to stop it rite this moment and throw this sh*t away

Wow i have never been so disappointed in a product than this one. I bought the cleanser and its been 1 week that i've been using it, im breaking out badly and with the cystic type of Acne. Its expensive and a waste of money. I have found another product that works wonderful for my skin. Its called ZENMED, for those looking for a new product, try this. My skin is doing great with it. Your skin does not undergo this 'purging process' like Murad says as an excuse for the breakouts that occur while using their product, and i researched more regarding this 'purging process' and it should not be as bad as what i went through while using their product. this product sucks

didn't do crap for my skin. stayed the same! and then got eve worse!

DO NOT GET SUCKERED IN TO BUYING THIS PRODUCT THINKING IT WILL BE THE ANSWER TO YOUR ACNE!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!
