Pros:

- It works for like what, a week?

Cons:

-Dries skin out
-Didn't cure acne
-Made it worse, for months

Alright, so yes I gave it a few months to fix my skin but all it did was make it worse. I'm just so unhappy with the whole system. The toner does nothing, the wash does nothing, the lotion doesn't hydrate. WAH. The only bonus in this kit is the spot treatment, but that is hardly anything.

Pros:

Leaves skin feeling soft and smooth, minimizes breakouts, mask leaves skin with a healthy glow, slightly reduces redness.

Cons:

It can be confusing at first to determine which Murad products and combinations are right for your skin type because there are so many. Murad spot treatment sucks, go with a BP product like Zapzyt and incorporate it into a Murad regimen.

Murad works. I believe that many people have not used it properly or haven't used the right combination for their skin and this is why it isn't working. It can be difficult to know which cleanser to use, when and how often to use an AHA/BHA cleanser, when to switch to a different type of moisturizer based on the humidity, etc. I think some people are not willing to devote the time and thought to their skin. If this is ruining your skin then chances are you are using way too much. It takes LESS THAN A PEA SIZED AMOUNT of cleanser. People are complaning it is expensive. Well, if one starts off with a full amount of each product they need, use it sparesely (which is all you need), and replace individual products as they run out that will offset the cost. I had mild cystic acne before Murad and now I hardly ever get cystic acne. Occasionally I do get a breakout (esp when not sleeping enough, diet changes, stress). I also use the Murad vitamin. I choose from three different Murad cleansers and recently even switched to a different moisturizer from Murad for acne prone/oily skin. If you treat your skin like the basic Murad starter kit will cure all skin types then your results may be minimal. It isn't as easy as the commercial makes it seem, but it is obtainable. I also use a PRN antibiotic called Clindamycin. Remember, when using antibiotic use it for a minimum of 10 days then discontinue if you don't need it. Even if your skin is clear, use it for at least TEN days or you will develop an immunity to the antibiotic. If you know what works best for your skin consider buying it online through various retailers. You can find it cheaper than Sephora or even the Murad website.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Expensive
Gives you cystic acne
They auto bill you

My acne was very light but I wanted to clear it up so I tried Murad after seeing an infomercial. I should have known it wouldn't work because they kept reiterating that your skin has to get worse before it gets better. It stared to break out immediately and I thought it was bringing out all the acne and that it would clear up. It just made my acne worse and did not clear up even though I used it for almost 3 months. I now have several areas of cystic acne on my face (which I never even had when my acne was at its worst as a teenager). I am also getting acne on my forehead, chin, and jawline which I have never had before (it was always on my nose and cheeks). Nothing in my diet or lifestyle has changed and I am not taking any new or different medications. I quit using it about a month and a half ago and my skin is still jacked up from using this product.

Pros:

Uhhh, so far there are none.

Cons:

Burns to put on my face. Have tried at least 10 other acne products and was hoping this would be the last. I have only been using this product for about a week and it has made my acne much worse. Before i started using this i really barely had any acne, and now after just a week there is acne all over my face.

if you want to make your acne worse, this is the one to get. IT DOES NOT WORK!

Pros:

I really like the Moisturizer and the AHA Exfoliating.

Cons:

I've gotten like small spots on my chin which I never had before!

I've been using Acne Complex Kit plus other acne stuff from Murad like Clarifying mask the AHA exfoliating for almost 4 months now and honestly I expected more! It feels like nothing much has happend and the spots I have on my chin and even around the mouth I have never had that before. I'll try a couple of more weeks and if I dont see any progress then bye bye Murad "/! But I think its worth a try thou :)

Pros:

It moisturized my face and helped with oily skin during the day. It also smells GREAT!

Cons:

It dried my face out at first, caused me to break out pretty back and made my skin kinda itchy.

In the begining I was worried I was having a bad reaction to it and that it was just making everything worse, but after the first few weeks it made my skin look wonderful. It takes a little while to see the results but it is totally worth it. My advice, finish at least a four-five week trial period and then see what your skin looks like. I am still using it and my skin continues to improve everyday... hope this helps. :)

Pros:

It cleared up my acne immediately

Cons:

Day three came and my skin is uneven, red, and irritated. I think I'm going to find something else after reading these reviews.

I guess I'll have to see what happens to my skin after I discontinue use.

Pros:

Makes your skin feel light and very refreshed!

Cons:

Kind of expensive, but it is worth it!

I use acne complex for like 2 weeks and it made my skin clear and soft. It made my pimples clear away and now my skin always feels clean and pimple free! :) I RECCOMEND IT!

Pros:

My skin is amazingly clear and flawless it makes my skin feel smooth and refreshed! My acne is now gone and I have BEAUTIFUL SKIN! Try this for yourself you will not be sorry!

Cons:

The price , but if you get the 30 day kit it will last you a long time.

This stuff is AMAZING! I can't live without it. My skin is BEAUTIFUL thanks to Murad. My skin is so smooth and clear! And I have amazing confidence knowing that my skin looks great without makeup! I have been using Murad for about 4/5 weeks and I saw results in 10 days. I would definitely recommend Murad acne complex to anybody that is tired of using stuff that doesn't work. I'm 14 years old and I have had sooo much trouble with my skin and now I have finally found something that really works!!! Yes it is a bit expensive but if you get the 30 day kit that will last you a long time. I TOTALLY RECOMMENDED THIS!

Pros:

Some of the products smelled good. It makes your skin feel good at first.

Cons:

Made acne worse. Gave me a rash on my neck. I didnt like the way some of the products smelled

At first, I thought this product was really going to work. It says it gets worse after two weeks, then you should have clear skin after using it for 4 weeks. I only used it for about 4 or 5 days, and my acne is starting to get worse and after reading these reviews of what this product does to your skin and how it makes it worse than before with scarring and cysts, I am definately not using this product anymore. Now I'm scared after using it for just 4-5 days that my skin is going to get worse for a long period of time.
