Pros:

Able to obtain for free,
Great for super oily skin,
Effective.

Cons:

Length of time to see noticeable results,
Caution of staining hair and bedding.

I went to go see my GP about the acne on my forehead once again because everything i was prescribed for in the past wasn't working until i was given Quinoderm. This stuff is amazing! Although you must wait a while to see the full effect. I was a little apprehensive at first because the first few days of applying the cream, i noticed more spots occurring but patience is key. The great thing was, i was able to get the cream for free from my GP because i was still in full time education.

Pros:

effective
visible results

Cons:

a bit irritating

I will say I don't tend to have a lot of acnes, but most of them are caused by blackheads on my forehead( because of stress ) , and i will squeeze them ( cause scaring and sometimes )they became acnes:( . I use it for one night , and i can already notice that some of the blackhead and large pores are cleared. But of course , it is slightly irritating , I have more of a normal to dry skin, and I will put this on in front of my moisturizer. ( But i will say i can bare the irritation) , It's just i will put more at night then in the morning. I will say that this cream does help , and if you are in a hopeless situation , definately give it a try

Pros:

Clears spots and prevents breakouts.
Cheap.

Cons:

Dries out skin.
Takes time to have an effect.
Reddens skin.

I should say that I use the regular Quinoderm cream with 10% compared to 5%. I've tried many acne treatments with varying success. This has been the only treatment with significantly noticeable effects. On the packet it says to use it 2-3 times a day. I advise to use it just before you go to bed and at any other point when you will not be seeing anybody. It reddens the skin and makes it appear much worse than before. I also would recommend using a good moisturiser as the skin is dried severely. My routine goes as follows: Apply Quinoderm when I get home from school. Apply Quinoderm 4 hours or so later. Apply moisturiser before going to bed. Wash off moisturiser and cream in the morning. Apply another layer of moisturiser in the morning to mask dry skin. This prevents reddening and dryness during the day and makes skin appear more natural. Although it is frustrating, the key to success with acne and this cream is patience.

Pros:

Stops the appearance of nodules and cysts and other painful spots,
Makes skin less painful and feel smoother,

Cons:

Makes skin flakey,
Still get smaller spots emerging so does not fully treat acne,
Spots take longer to fade,

I've been using this product for two months or so and the results have been very blanaced. I used to suffer from very sore cystic acne along the cheeks and the jawline, I was very self-conscious about it because I could always feel the swollen spots. I used this product for a week and noticed it really helped as it got rid of these big cysts. However, now and then I have a break out of a lot of small spots which appear on the jaw and cheek and when poppd the blemishes take a long time to fade (and by the time they do fade I have had another break out) so it hasn't stopped my acne. I would still recommend it though as the smaller spots are a lot less irritating and I usually forget about them after a bit which helps with confidence, so it is better than not using it.

Pros:

Works
Cheap

Cons:

Itches a bit when sweating
A bit of redness when used 2-3 times a day
Can be a bit drying

This really works for me, I apply it one to two times a day after using the facewash. I haven't found that it bleaches anything really. It can be a bit drying, but nothing that can't be solved by a bit of moisturiser. The only real problem I've had with it is that it I do sometimes get very very faint red patches, but it's a small price to pay for clear skin!

Pros:

Clears spots and calms them down lots in just one treatment.

Cons:

dries skin, redness. if you miss a day spots come back fast and sore!

I would recomend to anyone suffering with acne, tried alsorts from chemists and from my gp, nothing works for more than a week. Then my friend told me about this!, i use along side with the Quinoderm Non-comedogenic antibacterial facewash.

Pros:

Very good at drying up oily spots and oily patches on the skin

Cons:

if you use this too much it may, dry the skin, need to moisturise with something like aqueous cream

Great for drying out spots! a good tip is get aloe vera gel and a few drops of tea tree oil and apply as like face mask and allow it to soak in before you go to bed at night, use a moisturiser if u need to after

Pros:

Completely clears spots up, and reduces blackheads resulting in smooth skin.

Cons:

Burns skin and is very drying

I really only suffer with spots on my chin, and had been on dianette which cleared them up. After 6 months I couldnt cope with the weight gain and so came off dianette, after which my spots returned. I bought quinoderm after researching suitable regime products available in the U.K. Even though my spots are only on my chin I applied to my whole face, and after only a few days was stunned with the immediate reduction in spots on my chin, and the blackhead infested skin on my nose was clear and smooth, (something I never thought Id see!) However my skin was horribly dry, uncomfortable and flaky, so Ive switched to using it only at night time with a very thick moisturiser. As my acne was only light this has had no negative effect so far. Very impressed that such a cheap, side effect free treatment works!

Pros:

Actually does what it claims
Reduces redness and drys out spots

Cons:

It's a BP supplement so your face can become addicted to it if used often
Bleaches all materials it comes into contact with including pillows, towels and clothes

I've been using this on and off for the past 4 years and it works great. I have very oily skin so I use it once in the morning and at night. It does dry out your face though so I would recommend using it with a moisturiser to combat flakes.
