Pros:

Stops new spots from forming
Soaks into skin well
50g tube lasts long time, i only use once a day and 1 tube lasted over a month

Cons:

Stings a little (i like to think that shows it working)
Smells a bit
Stains clothes, pillows etc
Already formed spots makes no difference to it

All people are different, not one product will suit everyone. 43 yr old, acne since teenager and am talking BOILS or at least boil-like. Been on antibiotics for 10 yrs which helps a lot but still get huge spots on face. Since using this for 1 month 1 app per day had 1 spot. The cream did't help that spot, no decrease in size or redness but am convinced it is stopping new spots forming. No miracle cure keep trying different creams till u find one that works. At present this seems to work for me

Pros:

-Works wonders
-Cheap
-Easy to apply
-

Cons:

-Dries a bit the skin (that's why I use moisturizing cream in the morning)
-A bit ouchy

Derm prescribed me this cream along with one other. I used to hate this cream at first cause It was really hurtful. Finally, it became my fave cream! It dries nicely the pimple and scars are hardly noticeable! :) Nice product over the counter If you have mild-moderate acne but I doubt it would work If your acne is severe!

Pros:

I have been using for the past month or so the quinoderm antibacterial facewash in conjunction with the topical cream with bonzoyl peroxide, as soon as I introduced this topical cream I really started to see results, my skin lost a lot of redness, a lot of my blemishes became smaller, some disappeared!

Cons:

I found I was applying it to blemishes that were not actually spots or zits and it just caused irritation. Also parts of my skin that ARE suffering with acne started to feel very dry and almost burnt. I've been applying Elave which has helped to alleviate this dryness and burning

yesterday I took a break from all creams, chemicals, makeup, and I took a walk in the fresh air and drank a lot of fresh water and my skin looks so much better now. I would really advise anyone using these creams to take a day break, allow your skin to breathe! it'll thank you. Also get plenty of sleep, fresh air, and water, and if your doctor will prescribe it try an antibiotic to tackle your acne from within too.

Pros:

Cleared my acne within 5 days
Doesn't sting or irritate my skin
Really cheap
Doesn't need a prescription

Cons:

Quite drying

I've been suffering from moderate acne since my mid teens. Around 2 years ago, I went to my GP as it was getting worse and it was really started to effect my confidence. I had a lot of spots and bumps on my forehead and cheeks area as well as my chin. Picking and squeezing them didn't help much either, leaving so many scars behind. She prescribed me Duac Once Daily Gel with 10% benzoyl peroxide which was amazing. I was applying the gel at night and every morning I'd see an improvement. A week later, all of my spots were literally gone as well as the scars and marks! I was really impressed. The only problem was that the gel would expire after 2 months and it was advised that you put it in the refrigerator. Anyway, about a month ago my acne has returned. Usually I'd get the occasion spot when its that that time of the month, but this time there were so many and looking angrier than ever. I've been using Quinoderm 10% BP cream and I'm ecstatic at the results. I've only been using it for 5 days and already, 85% of my spots have cleared up! What's even more amazing is how dirt cheap it is..I purchased it for like that £3. I use a small amount only at the areas which need it and I only apply the cream at night. I'm so happy and I'll continue using it till they've it's all clear.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Very drying on the skin
Make skin painful even when hardly using any product
To hash for my skin
Did not improve acne
Made acne actually worse as this product has now given me cystic acne which I never really use to get before.

I've had moderate acne for about a few years now bearing in mind I'm in my early 20's and the last thing anybody wants is acne. I've been using Oxy 10 and Oxy on the spot over the last few years which worked fantastic on my skin and cleared up my acne. However over the past few months I've been unable to purchase these products in the UK :( After a few weeks of not using any benzoyl peroxide on my skin my acne returned with a vengeance! I was recommended Quinoderm by a friend so bought two tube of the stuff. The first few days of using it was ok but by my first week my skin was dry. I used a thick moisturizer and jojoba oil but my skin was still dry. I decided to give it another week but by the second week my skin broke out with spots and even cystic acne which I tend not to have. I told myself that it was just properly an initial reaction to the treatment. However by the end of the third week I've decided to stop using it. My skin at the moment is bumpy with some horrific spots (worse than what they are normally are). This treatment has made my acne worse and has done nothing to prevent or reduce it at all. I'm extremely disappointed in this product as I honestly though it would of cleared my acne up. I've now received an order of the acne.org benzoyl peroxide which is a much less harsher 2.5 % so fingers crossed this product will work for me! :)

Pros:

Dries out and kills big spots, makes blackheads appear less visible, slightly calms acne at first.

Cons:

Extremely dry skin, causes skin to become very sensitive, flaky skin, rashes, itchiness, redness, made acne worse, too harsh on skin, hard to apply makeup over it, burns skin, stings, constant tight and numb feeling, leaves skin feeling sore, causes big red painful spots once you stop using it, dyes hair, stains clothes and pillows, etc.

My GP prescribed Quinoderm 10% cream to me for my ongoing problems with acne on my forehead, nose, mouth and chin area. I performed the sensitivity test behind my ear and there were no problems other than slight redness for a while so I applied the cream to the problem areas. I was told to use it two to three times a day but I couldn't do this as it was too strong. As soon as I put the cream on there was a horrible stinging, burning, throbbing and tightening sensation which continued all day. The next day I started to have difficulty moving my face; it was stiff, sore and uncomfortable. I used the cream for 3 days, applying only a thin layer once a day until I decided I couldn't cope with the pain anymore. I stopped using it immediately as my face was swollen, red, inflamed, blotchy, agony to touch and uncomfortable for me to even move my mouth to eat. It was itchy all over and had brought me out in multiple rashes. The best way I could describe the way my skin felt would be to say that it felt as if it had been burned. The areas in which I had put the cream felt burnt, dead and extremely dry. It isn't just the slight kind of 'dry skin' side effect I was warned about from my doctor, it left my skin literally feeling like sandpaper. I moisturized my skin three times a day in the hope I would regain normal feeling skin but this was not the case. A week after my last treatment of Quinoderm and my skin is still tight, sore and dry. My skin is flaky and peeling and stings horrendously every time I apply moisturizer. I am going back to my GP to try and get something to make my skin feel normal again. Not only have I had these awful side effects but my acne is worse than ever and is spreading. It's made me feel depressed, and I can't even bring myself to leave my house because of the state my skin is in due to Quinoderm. Although I understand some people have had positive results with this cream I would definitely not recommend it to anyone due to the experie

Pros:

clears 60-80% acne fast
reduces oily skin

Cons:

putting it on in the morning and being exposed to the sun can cause hyperpigmentation which i unfortununtley didnt know until i got it ;/

wash your face twice a day with a mild cleanser and use this only at night after you wash your face and you'll be able to control your acne and almost completely clear it within 1-3 weeks

Pros:

Works Fast

Cons:

Red burning down my neck if to much applied

This stuff really works, what would you prefer loads of zits or a bit of burning. The burning soon disappears to leave non zitty skin. Ive been using this stuff on and of for about 15 years and forgot about it for some years as my skin cleared itself. But then for some reason started to have break outs again. So started to use it again. Never be without it again.

Pros:

- Works extremely fast
- Reduced: Breakouts, Skin redness, amount of inflamed spots, whiteheads.
- REDUCED MY ACNE BY 70% WITHIN A WEEK
- Super cheap
- Didn't dry out my skin (my skin is very sensitive too)

Cons:

- Can be a tiny bit itchy/stingy
- Too much in one application = red face for a few hours, but it goes after maybe 5 hours and your normal skin colour returns.

This product in conjunction with Lymecycline antibiotics saved my skin, and it saved me from going on Roaccutane. Effects were noticed overnight for me, (moderately severe acne for 7 years). the product works extremely fast! ***TRY IT***

Pros:

Able to obtain for free,
Great for super oily skin,
Effective.

Cons:

Length of time to see noticeable results,
Caution of staining hair and bedding.

I went to go see my GP about the acne on my forehead once again because everything i was prescribed for in the past wasn't working until i was given Quinoderm. This stuff is amazing! Although you must wait a while to see the full effect. I was a little apprehensive at first because the first few days of applying the cream, i noticed more spots occurring but patience is key. The great thing was, i was able to get the cream for free from my GP because i was still in full time education.
