Pros:

Good Product

Cons:

Keep using it

I stopped suffering acne after I tried Acne free system. I was supprised when I applied the repair lotion (sample) to my severe acne (it's was a big red bump). The acne shrank and went down! It was amazing! The sample was strong if I applied it to my skin twice a day. I made my skin super dried and peeled. I reduced it once a day and the problem was solved. Acne is controllable, not curable. If I stop using the lotion, my acne comes back right away. So, keeping using it is my only choice for acne free. Bottom line, I'm happy with the product.

Pros:

After a couple days of using AcneFree, my large pimples were definitely going down.

Cons:

It really dried out my skin!

I have pretty oily skin, and no product I've ever used has dried out my skin as significantly as AcneFree did after only two days of using everything exactly as it tells you to. My skin just got really flaky and dry, but my acne was getting better. I have no clue why it dried my skin out so much, since it has lotion and everything, but I don't see what else caused it. However, that doesn't mean it won't help you.

Pros:

It REALLY cleared up my pimples :) The facewash is AMAZING since it does exfoliates the skin which is soooo good for my skin, you don't even know :)

Cons:

It smells kinda bad :/ The toner smells the worse though so i use seabreeze toner (smells like Vic but thats better than the Acne Free toner's fragrance). Also, when I rub too hard when exfoliating with the facewash, my skin gets irritated and red.

Overall I can say this product is swell, besides the fragrance matter. The cost of this product is veryyy agreeable. ProActiv dried out my skin sooo I would choose Acne Free :)

Pros:

it treats and prevents, it never made my skin ridiculously dry, and it just works!

Cons:

I tend to run out of the facewash before the toner/lotion, so I end up having to throw it out.

I tried a lot of cheaper drugstore remedies before this, and NOTHING worked. This made my skin clear up, and my whole face looked better within a few weeks. I tried using neutrogena stress control acne stuff recently to save on expenses, and I broke out SO bad! I'm stuck using it but it's amazing!

Pros:

cleanser feels great on my skin, lotion is creamy and not too oily.

Cons:

toner makes my skin dry

Acne free is affordable but it is taking a long time for my face to be clear. proactiv is faster, way more light, and although it may cost more its better than acne free. acne free is good for light acne not for severe acne

Pros:

AcneFree has been incredible for me. I seen a dermatologist for 5 years, tried ProActiv for 5 months and nothing has given me the results that AcneFree has. For once in my life I'm confident about my skin.

Cons:

Nothing

If you not only want to clear up your acne but want overall better skin and can't afford a dermatologist or one of the more expensive treatments, then go to Wal-Mart and buy AcneFree. You won't regret it. I definatly haven't. Actually I would recommend trying AcneFree before even thinking about trying anything else. I could of saved alot of money if I would have.

Pros:

It's cheap.

Cons:

everything else about the product.

It's done absolutely nothing for my acne. My face is extremely red. But maybe that's because the burning is so bad it feels as though someone poured acid on my face. Mind you, I washed my face about an hour and a half ago and it still burns. My face is ridiculously dry. The package says that you'll see results in as "little as 3 days" I'm going on day 6 and my acne is actually worse than it was before. Don't use it.

Pros:

I've used prescription, ProActiv, dozens of expensive three step or other acne products--I saw results with AcneFree within the first week of use. I have severe body acne and AcneFree is the only product that's worked.

Cons:

The only con I can come up with is the three step system can be tedious and so if you can't get yourself into the habit of making sure you do all three you're not going to see as good results.

Make sure you take full advantage of the line. I use both AcneFree (on my face) and AcneFree Severe (on my back and for spot treatment). You also need to make sure you use a gentle exfoliator a few times a week--which you should be doing anyways as part of a healthy skin routine--and a moisturizer as well. The repair lotion is NOT a moisturizer and if you want to combat any dryness (which you'll get with any Benzyol Peroxide product or acne product) and flaking, you need to make sure you follow a full routine! It will also help the medicine to work more consistently. For anyone with cysts, see about getting on something like minocycline, because those need to heal from the inside before the scars can go away. I had very severe body acne and I needed something to clear me up for my wedding next month--AcneFree has done it for me in just a few weeks of twice a day use.

Pros:

Worked effectively.
Clearer looking skin.

Cons:

Dries and burns skin.
Bad for those with sensitive skin or skin allergies.

At first i started to believe this was a great product and for some this may be the case. However, my skin reacted badly to the bezoyl peroxide. I think i have know developed an allergie to it. After about a week of use my skin looked and felt awful; it burned, dried and stung. This did not stop for about a week.A nd so i would like to tell you to be cautious with this product (acnefree severe acne treatment). If you do purchase it, start with just the cleanser and gradually build up to using the full amount of benzoyl peroxide. In hindsight i can see that i was naive in believing this product could cure my acne. I suppose its about your preferance, oh and skin type. I've heard there's a more gentle range of Acnefree products for sensitive skin which could be worth trying. The VERY bottom line is if you have sensitive skin don't use the severe range. If you don't and you have severe acne definately use this product. For me it didn't work. thanks.
