Pros:

This product is cheap at Target. I have only used it for 1 day at night and when i woke up, pimples have already began to dissapear.

Cons:

When i woke up my face was burning/ itching and swollen around the eyes, Looked like i got into a bad fight or was up crying all night. I guess i'm sensitive to the Benzoyle, because this also happend when i tried Proactiv but with Proactiv it burned worse and was crazy red. The swelling did go down through out the day but left a red flushed look on the cheeks that still hasn't gone away yet.

I bought the sensitive skin one and i think that is even a little too strong for me. I think mostly it's the step 3 repairing lotion that makes the face burn. I will continue a few more days to see if i adjust because day 1 has shown promise. I will have to keep it away from my eye area to avoid the swelling. My boyfriend says "bad news your face is swollen but good news your pimples are gone" i hope i don't have to choose!

Pros:

Starts working right away. I used this around 8pm Friday night. My face was Moderatly broke out with some swallon and red and sort of soar pimples. When i woke that next morning my face was not as red or swollen. Pimples were shrinking.
Did not over dry my face.

Cons:

I bought this Friday night used it That night and twice a day over the weekend. Sunday night after going to the St. Patty's day parade I came home with a super red face. It was about 56* and a little sunny but it was not sun burn! My face looks like a nice shade of sun burn.

I can deal with a little redness besides its nothing coverup can not handle. Pimples are going away. So Im happy. Proactive did not work for me at all. The only thing i did like about Proactiv is i did not turn red.

Pros:

Inexpensive
Can be found in your local stores
Works the same as Proactiv Solution
Light, smooth feeling on skin
Keeps skin moisturized

Cons:

Didn't help with my whiteheads

If you like or have used Proactiv, you will like this product. It works the same as Proactiv and is much cheaper. I began using this product because I could easily find it in CVS versus ordering Proactiv over the phone or online. I would recommend this for people who have light acne.

Pros:

Ok well I bought the acnefree sensitive skin one and this one! I personally love the sensitive way more than the normal one! The sensitive one feels great it cleared whiteheads and blackheads in days! This one is good to but I guess because I didn't want to dry out my face I used the sensitive one! I would re commend the sensitive one over this one but it really depends on your skin type. anyway the sensitive one didn't dry out my face and I have not broken out since!

Cons:

I liked the sensitive one more.
The sensitive one was cheaper too.
The normal one dryer my out

This product is okay but I choose sensitive all the way!

Pros:

Cheap
Easy to use

Cons:

made my forehead break out in bumps

I think this would work for many people. I think I was allergic to the toner so I stopped using just the toner and the little bumps went away that it caused on my forehead. It didnt do much for me.

Pros:

Works kind of like proactive

Cons:

-didnt work
-too much hassle
-expensive
-dries skin

I didnt like this AT ALL. It was expensive, it was a hassle, and it DID. NOT. WORK. I did it for two whole months, and nothing changed.... NOTHING! If your acne is so severe that you try this stuff, you might as well go to a pharmacy and pick up some Woman or Men one-a-day-for-teen (or adults) brand vitamins. Those seemed to help my little sis who had bad acne, and it cleared her right up. Check out the baking soda mask too, that works for most.

Pros:

Got rid of some light acne at first.

Cons:

still saw bad acne, and didnt help at all the second time.

The first time I used it, I was impressed at the results. Some of my acne was gone while some of it remained, but I was just happy that it was finally clearing. I stopped using it for about a week, because I ran out, and when I started back it made my acne worse. :(

Pros:

worked for awhile.
huge step 1 was sold seperate (that was always the one that ran out first)

Cons:

dried out my skin so i had to use a moisterizer.
3 steps it too many

i have a few little pimples usually and this seemed to help it, but then stopped after awhile. i also got prescribed "clindamycin phosphate gel usp, 1%" almost 2 years ago so i always applied that after all 3 steps. i dont like products where its 3 steps (acnefree, proactiv) but thought i'd try it and it did the job for awhile. i have light to moderate acne sometimes, with dry skin so i have always had to use a moisturizer after washing my face

Pros:

Did clear my acne for the most part. Especially the deep cystic acne bumps that had been there for months.

Cons:

Dried my skin out severely! My whole face is covered in flakes that won't go away even while moisturizing several times a day!
Also created a burning red rash after each use, but that went away in a few hours

I bought the severe version of this system because I tried the regular version a few years ago which didn't work for me. My acne is mostly on the sides of my face and jaw line. It's a mix of cystic acne and a few white heads here and there. At first, the system worked well at clearing the bumps deep below the top layer of skin. I noticed some drying under my chin, but didn't pay much attention to it. There was some burning and redness after each use, but it usually went away in about an hour or two. After about 2 weeks of use, the dry patch under my chin started spreading to other ares of my face and by week three my whole face was covered in dry flakes. So i decided to cut back and use only once a day and add a moisturizer. This didn't help. My skin was still very dry. I stopped using the system hoping that my skin would go back to normal. I also started moisturizing several times throughout the day. A few days later and my skin is still extremely dry. I've never had dry skin this severe and I can't even apply makeup because it won't go on smoothly over the flakiness. The severe system is extremely powerful and really messes with the chemical balance of your skin. I don't recommend it unless you would rather have a dry rash over your whole face instead of acne. Either way, both are embarrassing.
