Pros:

it worked for a second

Cons:

it worked for a week

it workes the same way pro-active does it works one second and then it stops working. but what i have noticed is that if you use it for a month stop for a week then use it again and it seemed to have worked for me. but i have also used a dermotoligest for years not and the only acne product that has EVER worked for me was acutain, but then again 3 years later in came back slightly, not as bad as it use to be but its there again.....

Pros:

Prevents new acne from developing.

Cons:

Significantly dries out my skin.

I have incredibly sensitive skin and so using this product has made my chin area very dry and red. It is quite painful. This is only my third day of using it, however, and I am using it in the morning and at night. I think I am going to try using it just at night and following it up with a sensitive skin moisturizer. Overall, one with sensitive skin just has to evaluate if it is better to have a few zits or very dry skin. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side!

Pros:

It clears up severe acne but it doesn't clear it entirely. I have been using this product for a about 2 weeks in september and had my severe acne had cleared up, But I didn't follow the instructions, I only used it once a day. At night

Cons:

This stuff burns like crazy when you first use it, but after a couple days of usage your skin gets used to it and it starts working. It also makes a red inflamed appearance, kinda looking like Roscea, but that ends in a couple of minutes, or overnigh

Get it, I have tried Proactiv while using this because my friend had came out the trees and gave me his Proactiv kit. My acne would have been gone if I had either continued using AcneFree, or If I didn't run out of Proactiv, I also didn't follow the directions of either of them, So I bet if I had start appyling it day and night I will see better results. Its not better that Proactiv, But its about the same thing. The perfume is horrible though and Proactiv feels better. Its cheaper too.

Pros:

Unfortunately, there are not many cons to report because the pros aren't worth the cons. Yes, it might have helped clear some trouble spots, but the side effects took me a week to recover from.

Cons:

It literally swelled my face! My eyes were swollen almost shut, the area under my eyes were so puffy, I looked like I had been hit, and my lips and cheeks were also puffy. This was in addition to terrible itchiness, dryness and flakiness.

I will NEVER use this product again and I will NEVER recommend it. I am actually a 35 year old female with consistent trouble spots around the chin, jawline, and neck area. I've always been tempted by the Proactive ads but decided to try this instead. It was cheaper and easier to obtain. I only used the full treatment TWO TIMES. The next day I woke up with my eyes so swollen, I could hardly open them. The skin around my bottom eye socket area was so puffy, I looked like I had 2 black eyes. My cheeks were swollen. Even my lips were puffy. It took 5 days to recover from the swelling alone. And to make matters worse, within 2 days of the last treatment, my face began to burn, turn red and then flake for several more days. I took it back to the store and promptly got my money back. This stuff is horrible. I'm still recovering from it. OK, so I have to admit. The acne did improve quite a bit, but I'd rather deal with acne than what I just went through.

Pros:

It did decrease the frequency of my breakouts and they are minor compared to what they used to be.

Cons:

If you use it too often, it dries your face out... and makes your skin very sensitive.

This product works pretty good, but that's just me. Everyone has different skin, types of acne, stress levels, and bad habits. The Severe Acnefree foaming cleanser is probably my favorite product. It's worked better than my $180 dollar tube of Differin combined with my antibiotics.

Cons:

It dried out my skin really bad and didn't clear up my acne.

Wouldn't recommend it. At least it's cheaper than proactiv!

Pros:

It didn't dry out my skin at all

Cons:

After a few days it stopped working

I saw a difference within the first 3-4 days, but soon after it stopped working. I started getting a ton of zits on my forehead and on my nose. I thought maybe I just needed to use it for longer, but after a few weeks I knew it wasn't working. It ended up making my acne worse than better. I was hoping that I could find a more affordable product, but in the end I went back to prescription products. My advice would be to see a dermatologist or skin care specialist about your acne- so far it has worked best for my skin

Pros:

After a couple days of using AcneFree, my large pimples were definitely going down.

Cons:

It really dried out my skin!

I have pretty oily skin, and no product I've ever used has dried out my skin as significantly as AcneFree did after only two days of using everything exactly as it tells you to. My skin just got really flaky and dry, but my acne was getting better. I have no clue why it dried my skin out so much, since it has lotion and everything, but I don't see what else caused it. However, that doesn't mean it won't help you.
