Pros:

Helps with skin texture, healing acne scars, preventing new acne scars, healing current acne flare ups, preventing new acne, skin feels refreshed/younger, 1 tub lasted for 5 months or nightly use.

Cons:

make sure you buy the unrefined pure shea butter or else it wont work as well. You can tell if its unrefined by the "nuttyish" type smell it has.
takes a while to get used to the texture and not putting to much on.

Worked amazing for my skin, Used it for about 5 months! Stoped using it for two months (ran out & didnt go buy more?) and my skin didnt immediately start to break out again (I only started to break out like I used to after the first month of stopping). I feel like it didnt just stop my acne it healed my skin. But I finally stoped being lazy and bought more and my skin is still improving. I only put it on at night because it makes me shinny.

Pros:

Softens skin, got rid of stubborn acne, even toned my skin and gets rid of rashes

Cons:

None

I love it! I had been using a steroid topical on my face for the rash I acquire after sweating from my work outs. Shea Butter got rid of the rash/irritation, my few acne bumps, evened out my skin tone, reversed the aging effects from the steroid topical and left my skin glowing!

Pros:

Almost immediate results!

Cons:

None

Shea butter is awesome! It virtually got rid of all my acne and healed all the scarring! My skin has never been so nice! I can wear it at night without it staining my pillow. Shea butter is great in that it washes out of fabric. It is expensive, but you can get it affordably on eBay or at an African market. I highly recommend it.

Pros:

have never had acne problems

Cons:

if you get some one your clothes, even when washed creates a faded mark
Has not dealt with my sensitive skin prone to heat rashes

I use grade A unrefined Shea butter and I have been using this for about 4 years. I am sixteen now at an age where teens experience severe acne problems but I have avoided the problem I believe through Shea butter. Women (sometimes men) complement me and question me at the clarity of my skin asking what's my secret implying that I have done something. I simply advertise this all natural cream. I recommend to anyone to use this stuff ASAP as it keeps the skin youthful. I jokingly can still pass for child tickets at silver-city.

Pros:

You see better results everyday you put it on. It does make your skin dry or irratate. It is all natural.Natural is always better!!

Cons:

Nothing really.

I have been struggling with an acne breakout for months. Nothing worked at all for me. I went to my doctor and he handed me a cream. It worked, but not all the way. It left me with a dry face. I got white flakes on me my face and I always had to mosturize it to keep the white from showing. my mom then got me shea butter and the next day I saw better results. if you want your acne to go away, use shea butter for sure!

Pros:

I used it for the first time last night and I was amazed! I had put too much on (first-time user), but after about ten minutes, it started absorbing into my skin fast. the package said your skin drinks it up, i didn't know they meant that literally!

Cons:

feels a little greasy at first

if you have dry, flaky skin from retinoids, cetaphil isn't going to cut it. I used to wake up and have to use a heavy-duty microdermabrasion scrub to get all of the skin flakes off. today i just used the st. ives gentle formula and they rolled right off with almost no effort.

Pros:

natural, pretty cheap, very moisturizing

Cons:

break out city

This is a wreck waiting to happen for my oily, extremely break-out prone skin. Unless you're on tane, have dry skin, or are just using this for your body or hair, I'd steer clear of this.

Pros:

All natural

Cons:

A bit too oily

For those of you people who say that shea butter might harden up back to its natural form under your skin if exposed to lower temperatures and cause 'problems'. That's a myth. Whatever you put onto your skin or scalp gets absorbed right in and travels further through your bloodstream. That's why it's dangerous to use products containing chemicals, you put them on at one end, they end up everywhere, transferred by your bloodstream. Back to the point. Your body temperature is constant, regardless of the weather. It soaked right in, and it's hot enough under your skin. Do not be scared of those false side effects. It works for some people and doesn't work for others, as simple as that. I've been using rosehip seed oil which is also famous for its moisturizing properties religiously, and it didn't work. My scars might have improved a bit, but it did absolutely nothing to my stretch marks and wrinkles. I like it on my hair though. As for shea butter, i can't give you a detailed review yet because i haven't been using it long enough. If you dont like the thick texture of normal shea butter, check out shea nilotica, which absorbs a lot better. It melts into oil as soon as you touch it. Very easy for face application.

Pros:

it's cheap!

Cons:

it takes about 10 minutes to rub into your facial skin

i've only been using it for 11 days but it seems to be workin. i'm using it for acne and dry facial skin. at first my skin started to feel rougher. it was like it was bringing all the clogged pores to the top. but the roughness is starting to go so that must mean it's clearing up maybe. i apply it as soon as i've had a shower or wash to dripping wet skin. with your hands still wet put some shea butter on the palm of your hand and rub both hands together for about 30 seconds(i rub untill my hands start heating up). then just rub all over your face and and keep massaging untill it's completely absorbed. like i said i've only been using it 11 days so i'll get back to ya if things go pear-shaped...if your scared of using it just use on your forehead for the same amount of time i've been doing it to see if it has the same effect. use unrefined shea butter...good luck!
