The studies also only looked at lauric acid which is supposed to be what makes coconut oil so invaluable. The oil does not only come with this fatty acid. That said, you are dismissing the oil as a whole based on the studies that looked at single ingredients in the oil that are beneficial. Also, not every batch of coconut oil comes with the same ratio of fatty acids. Some batches do not contain so much lauric acid. One person here had normal skin and after a while of using coconut oil, they develop cystic acne which had to be treated with Accutane. Your comment is uninformed and you should delete it.
