I have used prescribed hydroquinone from Oct2020 to Dec 2020. It didn't reduce the pigmentation around my mouth so I stopped using it after Dec. I restarted again in mid Feb only to find no results but alongside I used tretnoin which helped my pigmentation around mouth. I use hydroquinone for several spots on my face and was advised to stop using. Can I immediately start using alpha arbutin by the ordinary or should I give a break?

I would also add Niacinamide, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Azelaic Acid. All those are Ordinary products.

Did alpha arbutin give you improvement for the spots? I have been using Retin A, Azalaic acid and vitamin C on some brown spots for months, they have improved but haven't disappeared completely. Today I read about arbutin.
