Questions for clinical B&A photos

Recommended Posts

I was wondering as for your guys' B&A photos, do your dermatologists use harsh lightening or just normal light?

My scar looks pretty bad under the harsh lightening, but in my clinical B&A photos, it seems like my scars are acceptable (at least to me) since the clinic doesn't use harsh lightening,  and it barely shows my ice-pick scars, which are pretty noticeable if under harsh lightening.

Therefore, I was wondering are your B&A photos taken under harsh lightening or normal lightening?

That's what I'm thinking as well. However, searching from google shows most of the BA photos are taken under normal lighting. https://www.google.com/search?q=acne+scars+before+and+after&rlz=1C1CHBF_enCA830CA830&sxsrf=ALeKk01US_plwhBXrRkaQTdfXtz7ObFvig:1599796776932&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi95ee0m-DrAhXOCTQIHcFACpwQ_AUoAXoECA0QAw&biw=1454&bih=1138

Even the BA photos from Dr Lim, use normal lighting and sometimes he uses harsh lightening in the before photo, but normal lightening in the after photo
