Will you break out if you start a product after not using it for a week?

i've been using epiduo for months, but about a week ago i ran out and couldn't get more because of insurance issues. so i started using just plain differin, since my skin is already used to the adapalene. however, because i have stopped using benzoyl peroxide, my skin has had a few more problem spots. it's not that bad or noticeable, but it still bothers me. so, to fix this, i'm going to start using benzoyl peroxide again along with the differin. so basically, i'm just wondering if my skin will purge/breakout from resuming the benzoyl peroxide. i've only been off of it for one week, so is my skin still "used" to the benzoyl peroxide? or will it go through a purging period again?

sorry if this was hard to understand, i just want to know what to expect (lol).

Your skin should not purge from benzoyl peroxide

Purging is a weird idea that's common in acne circles

Good, long term, healthy solutions should not make you purge
