Hey man. Yes for sure that is swelling. Me personally i have done a full laser treatment on my scars but from the precious treatments i have done (subcision, microneedling and microdermabrasion) i know that it takes about 3 weeks before the swelling goes down. Ofc it is varies from person to person but please let us know in a couple of weeks! Good luck.

PS. I stronly recommend subcision and microneedling!

I just had fat transfer and subcision done today! I got it for relatively cheap price since someone cancelled their surgery 2 days ago and I got it for discounted price. I paid 2400e for fat transfer and subcision. Procedure was done under anesthesia. My plastic surgeon mapped my scars under different lightings that made shadows on my scars. I agreed on the scars she was going to work on and everything went great. Im going to get home soon and will get to wait for the results. I will also have my second fractional co2 in 2 days (my PS and derm agreed that this is safe after fat transfer because my fractional co2 wont go deep enough to affect fat underneath. We all agreed that combination of these will likely enhance my results). I will keep you updated on my results and laser as soon as my bloating subsides.

You had subcision and a fat transfer procedure today, and then you're getting fractional laser two days later? What a very strange combination of scar treatments. You should space your treatments over 3-6 months, not two days.

@ScarRightNot convinced about that hypothesis, sorry. We have talked about this earlier yet no evidence about results being better doing laser 3-6 months after subcision/fat transfer. I believe my plastic surgeon, dermand evidence that combination therapy is effective for acne scarring. My plastic surgeon is unbiased towards co2 fractional laser since thats something they dont even offer here on their hospitaland I asked thismorning before I had my subcision and fat transfer if I should have my fractional co2 this thursday as scheduled and she said I can have it with no worries sincewont affect the fat transferred as the fractional co2 im having(exelo2)cant ablatedeeper than 750 microns and the fat is deeper than that. She also agreedthat fractional co2 would only enhance my results even though there is nothing for her to gain from that procedure. If there is something you would like to add or comment about our disagreement I would ask you to write on the other thread where we discussed earlier. Hi! Just wanted to update a little. I had 3 fractional treatments during last spring in total and my skin has become a lot better than it used to be. Here are some pictures from my skin during summer. (Not angled lighting). I haven™t been thinking too much about my skin lately which is great! 

Back to the present moment. I had my fourth treatment today and it was done much more agressively than the 3 before. The first pic is what my skin looked like immediately after the first, second and third treatment. And the second pic is how my skin looks at the moment after fourth much more agressive treatment.

Today there was a lot of pinpoint bleeding but I believe this treatment will give me even more effective results, even though i™m almost satisfied with my skin right now. I™ll post updates with angled lighting after the swelling and redness goes down (probably 2 weeks).

Thanks for the update. What's your final opinion on the fat transfer? Seems like it worked out well.

Thats a great improvement achieved only in a few months! Do you know if you have to go back for more? I heard fat grafting doesnt last forever

these results are amazing. after only 1 co2 session it's like 90% improvement. I just want to start my treatment asap 🙁 How much was the CO2 Fractional?
