I™ve suffered from painful cystic acne for the past three years and only three months after getting an IUD taken out and stopping a medication it have no acne on my face. I™m obviously left with a lot of red hyperpigmentation just on the sides of both cheeks but it™s pretty bad and extremely red. I™m new to post acne treatments but have started using azealaic acid and different products with glycolic and lactic acid. I just wanna know if this will ever go away or if it™s just something that I™m stuck with forever. There™s absolutely no texture to them thankfully.ACBDC62C-E616-40BD-88A3-18C2BE06874E.thumb.png.0794907c777079a6bdbca70ee6be86fb.png

They won't last forever (even though it may seem that way). Using acne.orgs Aha is really helpful with fading dark marks. You should also use a face sunblock every day, otherwise the hyperpigmentation will just get darker and darker.
