I am on Accutane. I have one month left to finish.
It's the second time I do it, but the other one I did it on time, not like this. This time I had a lot of acne and scars. The problem is that they are in an area that when I smile, they create wrinkles and I hate it. I would like to know to what extent they can disappear with treatment. My dermatologist has recommended me to stay for a year with glycolic acid and then think about laser or hyaluronic acid fillers.
What do you recommend?

Lots of things will change after accutane, ... your skin will heal after the next year.
If you smile and there are wrinkles,... your skin is thin after Tane. This may resolve. If not there is subcision and filler.
I recommend even now several sessions of subcision and filler. Glycolic peels you can do at the end. The Derm is probably trying to avoid vascular laser, and it may work .
Your biggest issue is PIE or wounding post acne (reds) you can treat now, look for v-beam or vascular laser.
Some paint on TCA or spot peels inside the boxcar floor would help the scars soften. A few sessions.
Angled CO2 can be done to the box cars at 3-7% density with the highest power. I would not do this until 6 months down the line as your healing still.
Yes you always want to do manual methods first for acne scars before going to energy device.
Space things out, ... this is a marathon not a race. Treat as you have time and money. The body heals very slow. Allow 3 months of healing time between treatments or longer. Some treat over 3 years. See what you do well with. Everything is optional.
Finally you finish off with multiple tca peels, for texture.

I like your derms restraint while your healing, ... touch much on sensitive skin can hinder healing which is slow.
