PLEXER/FELC treatments for acne scars

Recommended Posts

PLEXR will not work for all but the most minor of scarring. Very superficial. You must have a appropriate skin type or you will hyperpigment. Most of the handhelds are way underpowedered / overpriced to do anything. We already have plasma resurfacing for light skin and the down time is close to a month. Basically A Deep TCA peel (sedated), Fractional laser resurfacing, or rf microneedle would give similar if not better results. It's little blephs of energy the same as RF technologies and often they say "plasma" but it really isn't. Electrosurgery (moles/warts) has been around forever, this is a new underpowered spin on it. While it's nice to know devices, ... acne scars are never one and done, it's not about the machine but instead the treatment plan and your scar type. There is no magical machine that will do it all. Acne scar treatment takes multiple methods.
