Hi everyone, I've been having a lot of trouble with my face lately and have been trying to post here but had no luck so hopefully I can get lucky and have someone put me in the right direction. I have a lot of (what I think is) post acne marks along with actual acne and on the side of my nose is just a patch of redness. I've had this for over 3 years and I'm not really sure what I should be doing and what I shouldn't be doing. I'm also not sure what is even wrong with my face. I tried derma rolling before and didn't do much and I've tried aha bha gel and that didn't really help all that so I'm very confused. I'm 21 and don't want to keep feeling so afraid to meet people because of my face. I just want to feel confident again. The last 2 pictures are the most recent. Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thank you.
Hi, I understand the frustration when it comes with red marks on the face. Derma rolling wouldn't work with your situation, because you don't have severe indentation in your skin. You have red marks, which can be helped if you use AHA+. Maybe it didn't work for because the results aren't instant, you really have to commit and use it as a routine. Some results will come after months. And I know the feeling of losing confidence when having red marks. I spent an entire year being in isolation. Because of stupid red marks on my face? Don't waste your time. Early twenties should be the highest peak in your life. Going out, living life, instead of worrying about marks on your face. (Something I wish someone told me very early on.) Your marks don't affect your appearance at all! It's all in your head. A good technique is the invisible mask. Before you go out or talk to people, pretend you have an invisible mask in your hand. Put it on, and all your imperfections go away. Now go out and live life man! When I did this over a few months, I realized nobody cared about my red marks as much as me. I can not say this enough. It's all in your head.
