I just started Claravis-Accutane medication. I have had severe cystic acne since I was about 13, currently I'm 17. I have tried everything as a result, some things helped calm breakouts but did nothing for long term. This is pretty much my last straw, my trump card if you will. Still not entirely sure if I trust it to get rid of my acne for good, I've had it severely for so long I lost most hope some time ago. Anyways I'm currently taking 60mg a day, my doctor is starting me at a low dose and it will increase over time. Since I started it today I have no side effects yet but if anybody has any advice they'd deem helpful I would appreciate it so much. Thanks. Im going to try to keep my head up!
@Subtlyhow bad do a person normally breakout? Like, I have 3-4 red spots on my right chin and my left one is fully clear.. A few light-red spots on my forhead due to the pimples i had one month ago... its nothing too much but ive thought about trying accutane. If I do (low chance), will I break out all over my face?
