Hi. I've been dealing with acne for a long time. I'm a 25 year old male. I've been on antibiotics, Accutane, and used various face washes. I've been to many doctors, digestive specialists, and dermatologists. They all either told me I'm Sol, some lame recommendation like "don't drink dairy" , or give me something that doesn't work.
Your experience is just the opposite from the majority of people, but it is what it is. So the only logical step would be to stop probiotics.
In general I would not use any pills, and would eat just the foods that your great-grandmother would recognize as foods.
In my family we like to add some liquid fish oil (Carlson's) to our morning coffee to reduce inflammation and to eat one banana a day as a pre-biotic food. Raw nuts are also great as a snack. We also avoid any sugary foods or drinks and we try to eat foods that come out of farms and not factories.
Best!

My son is taking probiotics along with an antibiotic (minocycline) and if anything the probiotics are helping his acne, as well as the side effects from the antibiotics, like GI issues. He had very severe, stubborn cystic acne and now all his acne is gone. But like the above poster points out, everyone is different...so it's possible that probiotics could be a cause for you. Omega 3 fish oil is great for skin inflammation and a great natural add-on to any skin regimen...I've heard called all-natural Accutane by one source. Avoiding Omega 6 fatty acidslike those found in common junk food and fast food will also help.
