Some variation of a "IB" will likely occur... Sometime in the one month range and will substantially get better after that. However, some people say they didn't get one; I did, though. As for your inquiry, I have seen nothing about the transition from antibiotics and IB on accutane... You would have to ask your dermatologist.

Then again, how would he/she know? Our physiology is very complex; I'd say you won't know if you will have an IB from that transition until you are at that stage.

Advice:

Moisturize if flaking or excessive dryness occurs while on your IB. Don't assume that this is speeding up the process - it will only prolong it.
