FlakyGallon 0 Share Posted August 15, 2015 Hello, I am about to begin a course of roaccutane and I was instructed to use moisturiser for the face and lips, artificial eyedrops and a strong sunscreen. However the moisturiser dilutes the sunscreen and what's even worse is that I use chemical sunscreen. I just don't see it happening - as long as the moisturiser holds in water, it will dilute the sunscreen. Can I get away without the moisturiser during the day and only use it at night? darknights 0 Share Posted August 16, 2015 You can apply the chemical sunscreen on your bare skin, let it absorb for 15 mins, and then apply your moisturizer over it (this way it won't affect the potency of the sunscreen).
Chris1337 62 Share Posted August 16, 2015 You should be fine just moisterizing at night. It all depends on how dry you get. Usually sunblock provides enough moister to keep you from drying out too much. I'm 6 weeks in and moisterizing once a day has been fine for me. Fudgesicle87 41 Share Posted August 16, 2015 Sunscreen has been enough for me too. I'm at 3 weeks on 40mg.
