I've been dealing with them since end of middle school/highschool and its been about 5 years since then. I didn't care for them until about 5months ago when I tried to get rid of them. I tried using Neutrogena body clear body wash (regular) and the pink grapefruit version and there is no progress. I'm currently trying out head and shoulders class shampoo for about a week now and no progress at all.
My chest has red bumps
My stomach has dark discoloration of skin
My back has few bumps on top of my back similar to chest, and rest of the back doesn't seem like an acne but dark discoloration of skin that is flat.
Have you gone to a dermatologist? I've had acne everywhere for a long time and none of that generic stuff worked for me.
I was recently prescribed minocycline (solodyn) by my dermatologist as a prerequisite to Accutane (now on Accutane) and it did wonders for my back acne! The only reason I got on Accutane was because my face never cleared up!
Sometimes for that stubborn acne that generalized body wash and face scrub just won't do the trick. Try to make an appointment with a dermatologist. Hope it will do the trick!
What is your diet like? all I can say is to stay on top of it. Although I am not a fan of Dermatologists, it could be rewarding to see one in the area that can give you something to apply that would keep the inflamtion and infection down. Do not just shrug it off and accept that this is happening, you want to get a grasp on these skin afflictions before they begin to scar, trust me.
