I don't know if this is the "correct way" to deal with it..but whenever that happens for me I usually try to pop it which usually breaks the skin then put on a butt load of polysporin and put a bandage on top of it overnight. It'll leave a bit of a mark but at least by the next day usually the blood is gone and the wound should be closed thanks to polysporin. The residual mark kinda sucks but at least makeup can cover it while it fades :/
