Steaming of face is not a good task, but it helps to remove blackheads and whiteheads. I sometimes steam my ace and it creates pores in my face that are so disgusting to see.

I've read the steam and even humid environments can increase sebum production and cause break outs. I think the only use for steam is to maybe soften skin before extractions ("popping zits") but not regularly.

I've also found that if you want whatever medication you're using to work, you really need to have clean skin and pop what you can before applying it... so the medicine can get into the pores. Applying it to the top of a closed pore doesn't seem logical or effective.
