Do indented scars look worse in direct sunlight or in more shaded/ shadow-blocked lighting?

my red marks, which I cant tell if they are scars, actually look better in sunlight. And they look more level when I put on makeup (which doesn't cover the red 100 percent but makes it look more level nonetheless).

would it be safe to say they are more likely to be red marks than actual scars?

If it's not pitted, when you apply makeup then it's not a scar

Example, when you put the makeup on if it's totally smooth yr skin texture then it is not a scar

If yr having trouble covering yr scars and having to reapply and layer when applying makeup to fill in the indents then that's a scar

As far as lighting goes it's tricky in some lights it looks better and in others it looks worse but still you should be able to detect yr own acne scarring

Especially when applying makeup

But thrs very shallow scars that I can cover easily but I can still see my own indent

If it's just red or brown but no indent just get something that exfoliates yr skin, or a skin Lightner (hydroquinone)

Continue to exfoliate yr dead skin cells , (baking soda)

Or a salicylic wash
