Well I just thought I might as well start a accutane blog while I'm on clavaris. I started getting accutsbe at 14 years old but it was very mild. 15 I started getting more acne especially on my cheeks and it was cystic. It eventually went away because I was using a topical called duac. My acne would come n go but eventually it got pretty bad so I started on doxycycline. It broke me out so bad n my acne has never been this bad in my life. I will post pics weekly n write bout my progress n excuse the ugly ass facial hair I've been working a lot during summer

I'm on doxycycline right now for a week so far.. are you still on it? and actually your skin might react very good to accutane just please don't pick at your cystic acne which already have the potential to scar! your forehead is very clear as well. what i would do is ask your dermatologist about accutane! which is one of my options to start next month if doxycycline doesn't work!

Day 10

Well my skin has been getting sooo dry it's not even funny aslo my lips get chapped quick but I just put on Chapstick. My face does not get oily at all anymore which I love!! But km breaking out like crazy rn I'm guessing it's the initial breakout n my face constantly feels like it's pushing out stuff which I dnt know if it's normal to feel that. And I'm definitely feeling the joint pain when I go to the gym even when I bend over n raise back up I feel like my grandpa...just gotta b patient

Week 2 Day 14

My acne got slightly worse thus week I think it was the initial breakout. I've been feeling the joint pain even more when I workout and it sometimes forces me to do lighter weight but that's about it. The huge cysts that I have on my cheeks get super dry n get scabs on them so I think that means the accutane is working on them. My skin gets really dry in places mostly above my mouth n nose n I'm probably gonna hv to buy the cetaphil moisturizer because the one I'm using isn't working... Just gotta keep my fingers crossed for rn :/ also the dry lips aren't a huge issue all I do is use Burt's bees Chapstick or aquaphor n it's all good

Well my face has improved a lot so far n I'm only just reached my third week. The mark on my forehead is only a scratch I try really hard not to pop anything but I hv popped twice but that's it. There's a problem tho my derm made my appointment 35 days after swallowing my first pill so what I'm gonna do I'm gonna b taking 60 mg (2 pills) for as long as possible them ima hv to do just 30 mg (1 pill) that will last me until the 35 days are done. I don't really thing that will affect me much so for a good week n couple days ima only b taking 30 mg a day. My joint pains are still here n I also tend to get chest pains which hurt a lot when I'm doing crunches while working out. Overall tho I'm happy with the results so far n still dry skin n lips n I apply aquaphor to the really dry parts of my cheeks
