Severe Acne Scars

The scars are between 12 and 20 months old. Red marks, boxcar scars and icepicks. I own a 2 mm dermaroller and 1.5 mm dermastamp bought from Owndoc.

Is my skin ready to be treated with those? I've used 1 mm dermaroller before but with little to no improvement.

Photos below. Due to the quality of the photos, light settings etc. the scars look shallower than they really are.

to tell you the truth, you are so funny. I'm sorry I wouldn't seek any treatment if my skin look like yours.. I even can't see "severe" that you mean..

I'll try to take pictures that show the depth of the scars more clearly next time. The scars are worse IRL so to say.

Firstly, I wouldn't say your scars are severe. Once you get the acne and red marks under control, I'd say your skin will look pretty good. I don't think you should use dermarollers/stamps until your acne has completely cleared up. Otherwise you risk getting more scars from the treatment itself.

Those scars might be deeper than it looks in that pic as you said, but you just have few though. It doesn't affect your appearance significantly. Just focus to treat your acne first. however, I think it's too much if you worry it and say it is severe..

I have taken new pictures that better show the depth of the scars on the right cheek. http://imgur.com/a/sJqjF

How do I reduce the redness? I'll try your tips regarding the acne issues, SilverOreganoOlive.

Any ideas how to treat these scars? Is it possible to combine chemical peeling (TCA perhaps) with derma-stamping/rolling?

try using aloe Vera gel or cocoa butter creams over night or in the day! it will regenerate your skin and rid of those red marks in no time! :) just have some patience and focus on being healthy!

Not severe for me! I think you could do punch excision to those deep scars.
